Where do I get baby gates?

My lab tore his ACL on Monday. He had surgery yesterday and is coming home today. But we have to confine him in the study until he is fully recovered which will be THREE MONTHS. Gah. Anyway, we would like some baby gates so that the door doesn't have to be shut. Where can I get those?

Target I think has some but Babies R Us definatly does but the north location might still be closed. If you are south try Buy Buy Baby or Babies R US.

Toys R Us might have a few.

Anywhere really. Walmart, Target, Any baby store, I think Lowes/Home Depot might sell them too. I would go to walmart, you can get one pretty cheap since it's just for your dog.

When my little dog was diagnosed with heart failure, he couldn't go up the stairs anymore so we got a baby gate for him. We got it at Wal-Mart. Since he's little, I figured the cheapest one would work. Wrong! It's a piece of crap. (Just telling you so don't waste $ on a cheap one.)

For a lab, you definitely need a sturdy good quality gate. I know someone whose lab ate part of a door to get out of a room he had accidentally been shut in. The door was one of those cheap hollow interior doors, but it was still pretty impressive that the dog ate a hole big enough to escape out of.

I got mine at baby resale shops. $20 for $80 gates in perfect condition. But it may be a hunt, though.
