This is a place for any of you who are experiencing the world of azoospermia. Whether you were recently diagnosed and are trying to make sense of it all, or you have started preparing for IVF or IUI, or have decided instead to move on to adoption. Please join in the group by posting! Check in is on Thursdays.

Learning that the chances of having a biological child with your husband are slim to none is not easy, and is, frankly, devastating news. This check in is a place where we can share how we are coping (or not) with our new realities, provide information we've learned through investigating our options, adjusting our lifelong dreams and plans, and dealing with the situation.

I'd like to extend an invitation to those who have been fortunate enough to experience pregnancy, childbirth, and/or adoption. Ultimately, all of us desire to create a family. The experiences and insight of those who have reached that goal will be quite helpful to those of us on that road.

QOTW: If money were no object what is your dream vacation?

If money were no object I would love to get a first class Singapore Airlines Around the World ticket. They sell them in mile increments and you can travel to any destination for a year with as many stops and starts as you want as long as you don't exceed the miles. I would focus mainly on Europe and a side trip to Australia.

Update: in the 2ww. Not really feeling positive about it having worked, but feeling okay with that...today. That's all I can ask for.

QOTW: Assuming money is not an object, I don't have to work and neither does DH I think we'd stay in Europe longer and continue to explore the area and trips as we like. Flying first class, of course! There are a lot of places I would like to go, but I've been really happy and feel fortunate that we've gotten to see/do as much as we have.

Hey Ladies...

So I am only spotting now, so I think that is a good thing. I am getting my beta done again tomorrow to see if I am down to or close to zero. I am hoping that it is so I can go through this cycle and try again!! Probably sometime in April.

QOTW: I don't really know what my "dream vacation" would be. I honestly have never really thought about it thoroughly because of money. I don't usually like to get my hopes up. I still have never been on a cruise, so it might be that - with lots of awesome excursions and an equal amount of relaxation!!

hey there! I am on day CD6 and day 2 of clomid 100mg, for the CCT, I have another ultrasound and monitoring to be done this coming Monday...I am supposed to test with the opk on day 12 (but I will start testing before...lol just in case...) then we will do the trigger and the d-iui, hopefully around this time next week!!! YAY! am excited...

The clomid is making me feel loopy. I feel weird stuff happening in my ovary areas... I guess it is the side effects...

We finally got a lot of answers and will be starting our first IVF with this cycle coming up.

My husband went from having 0 sperm in august and october to having 800,00 with his last analysis. His urologist suggested us taking some time to give clomid to work for him and it did. Of course he is no where near "normal" count, but finally has enough to do IVF/ISCI.

He went today for another analysis so it can befrozen just incase he doesn't produce enough the day of my ER<

As for vacation, I would love to go to the french polynesia, followed by a trip to italy, spain, portugal and ireland! I would love to tavel all over the world!

Update on me- Finally talked to Uro Monday night. We have a new game plan. Appointment on April 25th at his new facility. We will go early for blood work and S/A. They will have results by our 2pm appointment. Depending on results, we will either freeze here at our clinic and use for IVF or schedule mTESE for May 26th. We are not doing mTESE and IVF together at the same time now. Logistics suck and the clinic he works with down there are getting the same results with frozen and live. So if there's no sperm from mTESE we will move on to D-IUI. If there are we will probably work with the clinic down there for a Summer IVF cycle. It feels so good to have answers and a plan set up.

QOTW: If money were no object, I would love to go to Australia and cruise around Hawaii. We are hoping to go back to Hawaii for our 10 year wedding anniversary.

Sorry for posting late! Update on me, had a threatened miscarriage over the weekend, but had a follow-up u/s yesterday and baby looks good. 162 hpm so they are releasing me to my OB.

I thought I had checked in to give an update last week...anyhow we're going to see a new RE in April and most likely undergo IVF. Not sure how they get good sperm out of him (I guess surgically) if they are pretty much non-existent!

My dream vacation is to go to Australia!! First class all the way of course!

Hello all!

Can you add me to this group as well? I would love to KIT with those struggling with the same fertility issue.

DH hasn't actually been dx with Azoo, but SA shows nothing. With his blood levels all WNL, they looked for a blockage of some sort, but still nothing. 4 months of Clomid had no effect (with the exception of a decreased {???} sex drive). Appt with RE on 4/4 for repeat blood draw & SA.

Hey Pretty... I tried to get DH to take FertilAid, but he could never "remember" to take the pills 3x's/day. How does your DH do it? Let me know if it helps out your SA!

Actually, I hand it to him with a drink (morning and Night) and mid-day I call him to remind him. We may actually never know if it helps because he is on Clomid and Arimidex as well. He will have to repeat his SA in 2 months so I will post his results then. Keep your fingers crossed!
