So in order to get into a good daycare, there will typically be a pretty decent length waiting list.... We're not due until October but my husband and I are starting our search now in order to get on a waiting list to get baby in by 12 weeks old (January 2012).
Does anyone have daycare recommendations? We live in Kenner but I work on the New Orleans/Metairie Line and hubby works in Kenner and our families are all throughout the Metairie/Kenner area, so we're open to any Metairie/Kenner suggestions (although in a perfect world, we prefer Kenner).
THANKS!!
Re: Daycare -- any suggestions?
A high school friend of mine and her sister used to work at a place called Beary Cherry Tree. It's in Metairie. I don't know much about it, but she sent me the link to their website when we were looking for daycares. I can't speak for the center itself, but the people I know that worked there are pretty awesome with kids, so I would like to think they'd be a good representation of the type of care the center provides.

We are going w/ St. Matthew's ELC . We were very impressed with the staff and the facility.

I used to work there and it's probably better than a lot in the area from what I've heard. If you're going to look there though go take a tour -now-. They fill up quickly.
DS is at Beary Cherry Tree and we LOVE it! I highly recommend them. Feel free to PM me if you would like more info.
