Irish Soda Bread Recipe

Just thought I'd share my recipe for Irish Soda Bread on my favorite holiday with you girls.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!!

3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
? tsp salt
? tsp baking soda
? cup sugar

Sift all dry ingredients.

2 eggs
1 stick butter ? softened
? cup evaporated milk
? cup raisins
1 tbs caraway seeds

Mix butter with flour mixture. Add eggs, milk, raisins andcaraway seeds. Bake in a greased bundt pan at 350 for 40 minutes until golden.

Serve warm with butter.

dang, got everything to make this 'cept for the caraway seeds!! boo. can i sub with something else?

hmmm... I'm not sure. You could make it without, it would just be more of a dessert taste without the seeds I think.

Hot damn, I just realized I bought fresh strawberries yesterday!! Heck yes!!!
