How quickly things move!

This weekend DH and I were talking about our move and asking a bunch of questions.

When would we be leaving? When would the moving company be packing us up? Had our clearances come back? When will the Visa apps be sent in? Well, be careful what you ask for! Yesterday I got a few calls and all of these questions were answered.

Our psyche exams came back normal (amazing, huh?). The clearances have come back and Visas will be applied for this week. The moving company is packing us out on April 6th. We fly to Sydney on Tuesday, April 12th. We'll arrive in Sydney on Thursday, the 14th, and stay overnight. (Leah will celebrate her 11 month birthday on her first day in Australia.) On Friday, the 15th, we'll fly into Alice Springs and start our new life Down Under.

Things are moving along quickly. In less a month we'll be in our new home. Wow!

We moved around a lot when I was younger. Foreign country moves were always exciting, but a little hectic. It was so much fun to see our stuff again when we were all settled. Good luck with everything.!

Doesn't seem like that long ago.

I'll be on here until we move. Once we have our internet set up in our new place I'll be checking in here. Can't leave my Bump friends just because I move. Big Smile If any of you would like to FB just let me know.

Wow! This is so exciting. I have a friend whose son just move back to the states from Alice Springs last September. He really enjoyed living over there.
