Quick Corned beef and cabbage question..

Im making this tonight.  I have made it before and have already started it, but have a question.  I cant recall if i add the potatoes and carrots into the liquid towards the end (like the last 30-40 minutes) or in the beginning with the corned beef? 

Also, is this one of those things Im not supposed to eat cause Im pregnant?  If it is Im gonna be pissed!  :)

Severe MFI resulting in IVF/ICSI #1 in Nov 2007. BFP!!
Our beautiful son was born July 2008.
2010: 2 IVF's,1 FET = 2 BFN's, 1 c/p :(
Feb 2011-Unmedicated FET= BFP!! DS #2 born Oct 2011!!.

    end. I put the carrots in a lil before the pots.

    I see no reason to not eat it, salty, sure. just drink some extra green water ;-)

    Mine is cooking right now!  I added the potatoes,carrots & cabbage for the last hour.

    Some corned beef that has been brined before packaging can contain nitrates but like with anything else all in moderation you'll be fine it's not like you eat corned beef every day.

    We just had ours...YUM!! I did my carrots in the last hour and the cabbage in the last 30 and it was perfect. I do Champ potatoes so they don't go in the same pot. Enjoy!
