I used to have a bra that clasped in the front but then when i worked retail and would bend over to work on something it would become unclasped, reeeealy hard to fix in front of a customer!
I'm curious who puts their arms through first and then clasps the bra in the back... I am NOT that coordinated!
Ha! I was curious to see who actually clasps in the front and then jerks it around to the back...that would seem like such a pain/hassle!
Oddly enough, us claspers in the back people are in the minority, which, I have to admit...I'm shocked.
It still feels twisted if I do the clasps in the front and twist it around to the back. I must have bendy arms, but it's easier for me to do the clasps behind me. Sure, I don't always get them on the first try, but I prefer it.

I actually really like the bras that clasp in the front. I wish they made more of those.
To me it seems like a bigger PITA to spin it. Lol. Only time I spin it is if I'm doing one with a ton of hooks (like a strapless corset type thing for under a formal dress).
Like maybe they'd clasp it first then put it on over their head like a shirt.
LOL! I clasp in front, spin it around and insert my arms. Before I answered, I actually had to stop and go through the motions to remind myself of my method.

I wonder if it has anything to do with how big your boobs are?? I was a DD pre-preg (I don't even wanna know what I am now! Lol) I feel like its way too hard to clasp in the back because my boobs are fighting with the front of my bra and don't stay in place very well until its fully clasped! Now...I fully realize this may just be me that has this issue! lol I'm curious though, does cup size affects anyone else's 'location of clasping'??
I front-clasped and turned my bra around for years. Until one of my college roommates made fun of me for doing it like a little girl. All of the sudden, I thought I was the only one doing this and ended up changing to the other way. So until now, I thought that putting your arms through the holes and then back-clasping was the "normal" way. That's why this is so eye-opening!!
Also, as an aside, I thought it was difficult to back-clasp at first, but after awhile, it's really easy...
I clasp in the back but put my straps on after. If you want to be completely accurate, I clasp it upside down - like outside of cups laying against my stomach, clasp in back, then flip up over boobs, put on straps and adjust as needed.
I'm late to this, but I am an SS. I clasp it in back, but around my belly still and then pull it up. It's really difficult and awkward for me to try to clasp it when my arms are already through.

I was thinking this too... I can do it but it takes forever and I would probably have to get up 5 mins earlier to add that in

Darn, I was hoping to see some SS's.

Yes, me too! I have always been a back clasper.
But unlike pp mentioned, I unfortunately do not make it look sexy. My husband often laughs at me while watching.

I was too. I thought i'd be the weirdo who clasps in the front and then moves it to the back.

Nope. My mom clasps in the front and twists it around.
I completely agree... I love this poll, and I really am shocked about how many people clasp in front and flip it around!
Me too... I thought everyone did it this way. I haven't turned it around since middle school.

Finally I get to be a Special Snowflake!!!
I clip my bra in the back and then put my arms in the straps. Really didn't know I was that different. Hmmm...
This is such a funny question - I love it!

This. It seems so weird to me to clasp in the front.
I'm a clasper in the back. I'm also shocked its the minority. I didn't even think of another way around it (unless you get a clasp in the front bra).
I voted SS.

We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

Exactly this! It has literally - no exaggeration - NEVER occurred to me once in my life to clasp my bra in front and then spin it around.
I always have...that's how I always thought they were put on.
BUT....I read in several magazines that there is a "proper" way to put on a bra (to support you properly)
YOu are supposed to put your arms in, then lean forward and let your breasts "fall" into the cups..then hook it. So I do that now.
