In addition to everything else going bad today as specified in earlier thread...

Soon to be SIL wants to go to Target today to buy stuff for SIL baby shower we are throwing next weekend. We don't have much time left so I really need to go we are getting baby products for the Price is right Game...perfect just what I need to do today

Then another co-worker comes up and says "I guess it's a good year for babies so you can start practicing" (she knows about my loss) and proceeds to tell me her friend who's been trying just announced. She meant it to be encouraging but I just started crying like a fool...

She felt instantly bad, apologized, wiped my tears and started hugging me

Oh what a craptastic day and I really do normally love St. Patty's Day Crying

    Ugh. That really is crappy. I am glad to hear that she actually felt crappy and started being supportive though. No throat punch, maybe. Hopefully things will get better soon. Is there any way you can back out of the trip to Target?
