Re: Writing a will....

  • I got the legal plan thru my work benefits last year, then contacted one of the lawyers on there. He sent over a form we filled it out then he sent it back for us to review/correct. We then made an appt to sign and have it noterized (sp) at his office.

It was pretty easy once I made the call and filled out the papers.

  • I suggest using a lawyer, because otherwise there is risk that it won't stand up in probate.  We used Albertson Law Group in Kent.

  • We actually used legalzoom.com and were pleased with the documents we got back. They look very similar to the documents my sister had done at a lawyer's office.

  • Take my advice, for reasons you know, do not use an online form or service.  Go to an attorney and have one drafted for you.  If you would like the name of someone I will gladly move you in the right direction.  Email me :)
