Baby Monitors Question!

So this may be totally silly but I am stumped : )

 

With having two babies do you have to have two monitors and two sets of receivers or can you put them on the same channel and hear both babies on one receiver. Also, do they have to be the SAME EXACT monitor in order to do that!? HELP!!

    We have two separate monitors although they are the same monitor brand and style. As far as I know, you cannot listen to two different children on the same monitor simultaneously, you would have to have each child associated with a different channel. We called the maker of our monitor to ask about this.

    This is us, too.

    I do know someone said their children's rooms were next to each other, and by placing the monitor on a shared wall, they were able to get away with one monitor/one receiver.

    But we just bought a new one.

    We bought a video monitor when Owen was born, so both cameras are on one parent unit. So handy and worth the expense.

    We have this monitor. You can buy an extra camera (up to 3, actually), which can be added to the monitor for use in multiple rooms at once.
