I'm still interested in a Freezer Dinner group; who's with me?
Nancy Drew - is your house available for our meetup & prep location?
My proposal:
1. post some dates to meet in the next month to shop & prep (we'll pick the most popular date).
2. post a meat you'd like to use for the month & some recipe links and target 2 recipes that will be cooked ahead and 2 recipes that will be prepared but cooked later (Dinners Ready style).
3. post your e-mail address.
I'll compile the recipe ingredients, outline the prep work and e-mail everyone. We can all meet at Nancy Drew's (or another house), go shopping together, then go back to the house to prep ingredients. We all go home with our ingredients to make 4 recipes of 12 servings each and meet up again in 1 week with completed meals and to debrief how it went and what to do next.
Re: F/U to North End Dinner Club
I am so glad you guys decided to do this! I want to be a part of the bumpie group too! I feel left out. LOL
If you guys need any help setting up or figuring out how to make it work let me know and I will help out with ideas on how I make my group work.
Doh didn't follow directions!!
1. April 16th or 17th
2. Chicken instead of ground beef https://www.ehow.com/how_5236202_make-ground-beef-enchiladas.html

*reading fail on my part as well*
1. april 9/10, April 16/17 - both work great for me.
2. ground turkey (recipes tonight - is that ok?)

1. Days work for me (DD still needs me home at night to go to sleep). My Mondays and Fridays are great, otherwise Saturday April 2nd, Saturday April 9th or Sunday April 10th are good for me.
2. Recipes:
Roasted Cauliflower Soup: https://www.cooksillustrated.com/recipes/detail.asp?docid=6243&extcode=M**ASCA00
Magnificent Casserole (with ground turkey) https://busycooks.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=busycooks&cdn=food&tm=16&f=10&su=p284.9.336.ip_p830.4.336.ip_&tt=2&bt=0&bts=0&st=31&zu=http%3A//www.realfood4realpeople.com/oamcrecipes.html

That would be great! If the scheduling works could you come to our get together to guide us through on the first round?
I'd also love to pick your brain about organizing the recipe and grocery lists. I've found some guides online but that can't take the place of real experience!
Yay! Your setup sounds amazing!! My house set up works okay for smallish get togethers but not so good for multiple kitchen tasks.
I would personally prefer a week day but if that won't work for others that I can do something on the weekend. My biggest challenge is that DD doesn't take a bottle or sippy cup well so I'm still nursing every 2.5-4.5 hours; but we can make it work for a day here an there. Plus she's growing up fast!
Yum!! I love baking!
I do have a non-bump friend that has a group-friendly kitchen who is interested in cooking together; she's Shoreline.
I'm up for doing a desert swap this Saturday the 19th or Monday the 21st
