Re: ??? Weekly Check-in ???

  • Holy smokes! --- I'm actually next in line here to give birth...  Big Smile

    1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?  37w1d

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  Still feeling done at this point.  I want this kid out now.  I have reached the point of being uncomfortable all.the.time and started to have total anxiety about the delivery of this little boy.  I'm not gonna lie, it freaks me out I won't be able to handle this!   But honestly, I'm healthy and he is healthy and thriving so I really can't ask for anything better.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?  I go on Thursday for my weekly apointment.  Hopefully it's uneventful :)

    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?  Sleeping.  I now see every hour on the hour during the night and getting up 3-4 times to go pee.

    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.  We have the BOB Revolution - so far I like the way it looks!  ;)

    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?  This was my question so I can't wait to see how everyone responds who have BF'd :)

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 16 months

    (2) Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? we left him to go out to dinner for the first time since was about 2 wks old.  We dropped him off at a church parents night out thing, and he did wonderfully!  played well with the other kids, etc.  so it was a milestone for us and for him. : )  He was really happy, so he didn't even care when we came back to get him!  He ignored us!

    (3) Next appointment date?  18 month checkup

    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? sleeping all night, he keeps waking up

    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc. car seat is a Britax Roundabout 55, I like it.  I finally got the Peg Perego Vela and I like that (wasn't happy with the Inglisina Swift I originally bought), but we don't use it a whole lot - when we go somewhere, I usually put him in the shopping cart!

    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.)  I was really worried about it for awhile, and I keep my FB account to people I'm actually friends with and know.  I do post them though.

    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it? I feel like I have it constantly, I second guess myself all the time and wonder if every decision I make will have bad consequences down the road.

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 18w 6d(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  We found out that we are having a boy! and I am trying to wrap my head around it.  Not because I wanted a girl but I was convinced that he was one.  I am very excited to know and to begin shopping!(3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?  Just had an ultrasound on Monday and I have an appointment with my OBGYN today.  (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?  My white blood cell count is low and my blood pressure is high (due to my Lupus).  My specialist is concerned about the babies immune system and the possibility of developing preeclampsia.  They are going to be keeping a close eye on me though and are including me in a research study.  I am going to be seeing my specialist every 3 weeks and receiving an ultrasound every three weeks also.  I am optimistic about it and excited to see my baby so much...lol. (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.  I have barely bought anything yet.  I need to get on it.  The only major thing we bought was a crib so far.
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.)  hmmmm, havent really thought about it, looking forward to reading your responses.(7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it?  I have guilt already.  The other day I yelled at my dog for eating my underwear (again) and the baby started kicking lots.  I think I woke him up or upset him or something....lol.  So then I felt bad for yelling at the dog and for upsetting the baby.  I need help...lol.

  • Could we change mine to "boy"? Smile
     (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 20 weeks, 2 days
    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? I'm good. Minus the Round Ligament Pain. It hurts! On top of that I was having a weird pressure in the pelvic area, so my OB had me come in (I had a LEEP done a couple years ago and they are watching my cervix). It's nothing, though, whew!
    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? We have our follow up anatomy scan next week Thursday. Can't wait to see him again in 3D!
    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? Being uncomfortable. And the RLP. It's getting a little harder to sleep. Oh, and starting to semi-freak out that I'm going to be in charge of this little man in 20 (ish) weeks or less.
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.) I am curious to see people's answers. I grappled for a little while before even posting my belly pic this week. My blog is private as well, so only people I know can read it. Especially after that whole August 2011 mom debacle (where some chick used pictures of someone else's kid and pretended it was hers, etc), it makes me a little more hesitant.
    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it? Not completely...? Sometimes I feel bad when I indulge in some sweets (cookies, candies, soda) but that's all I crave. It's hard to be diligent and after I eat I feel bad because I don't want him to struggle with weight issues later on.

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? almost 8 months
    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  We're doing well.  Henry has two teeth now, and we're back to (almost) STTN after being sick.  SOme days he sleeps until about 6:00am on his own, and some days he wakes at around 4:00am, but falls back to sleep when he comes to bed with me.For me - I went out to dinner last Thursday (with Lori - yay!) and last night I went to the theatre with a friend.  MH stayed home with H both times and did everything.....pickup, dinner, bath, bedtime, washing and prepping bottles for the next day, and last night, even washed the diapers.  I feel like he's finally getting what goes into taking care of a baby all the time, whereas before he "helped" occasionally, but just didn't get it.  If he helped me with washing bottles one night, I think he thought that was a big help, therefore wouldn't for the rest of the week, as if he had already done his part.  Now he does bath every night (when he's not working late), then I put him to bed, and then usually we do wash/prep bottles together.  I think he finally sees that all of it needs to be done every. single. night.  Not just when it's convenient.  And he's been a big help in the mornings, too, usually feeding H his morning bottle while I finish getting myself ready.  And while he still takes H to daycare when he has off sometimes during the week (which drives me crazy....spend time with your son!), we are making HUGE improvements on the daddy front.
    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?  End of April for 9 month visit.
    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?  Evening fussiness.  I think he's starting to nap less during the day, which is great for the whole STTN thing, but it makes for a sleepy boy in the evenings.
    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.  I looooove our stroller, the UppaBaby Vista.  And I love our changing table, which is Carter's Sleep Haven (sold at BRU) because it's the highest one I could find, which saves my 5'11" back!
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.) Uh, yeeeeeeaaah.  I feel like all I do is post videos and pictures sometimes!  I guess I get some people's sensitivity over it, but for me it's no problem.  Both mine and MH's families are scattered around the US, and they want to see H grow up, too.  The easiest way to share with them is to post it on a common site, like FB, for them all to see, rather than sending individual emails.(7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"?  What do you do to help overcome it?  All. the. time!  The other day when H wouldn't nap, so I rocked him while he slept in my arms = I'm a bad mommy because I'm teaching him bad sleep habits.  When he wakes up at 4am, and I pull him in to bed with me instead of making him CIO and go back to sleep on his own = again, teaching him bad sleep habits.  When fresh organic isn't possible and I feed him conventional or frozen veggies = bad, bad mommy!  When we're playing, but all I'm doing is sitting with him while he plays with his toys (happily, I might add), but I'm not, you know, teaching him how to do calculus at the moment = lazy mommy! Not to even mention the working mama guilt!
Seriously, I have mommy guilt all day long.  MH is actually really good at making me feel better by reminding me how amazing out child is, and how wonderfully I'm doing with him, and how he would never want to raise his child with anyone else.  And as far as a working mama guilt goes, on the hard days after I drop him off I say a little mantra to myself about how smart, kind, friendly, social, and well-adjusted he'll be from going to a great school.  And how proud he'll be of his strong working mama someday.

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?10mo
    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?Good! Busy! Hah, he peed in the bathtub for the first time (is that a milestone)? He just stood up in his bath, refused to sit back down and peed into the water he was standing in while MH and I waited for him to finish. For some reason, I thought it was funny =P Also he started developing stranger anxiety! Made daycare a bit rough these days (when new parents drop by to check out the place, he cries and needs one of the teachers to stay with him).
    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?1yr
    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?UM, stranger anxiety I guess...although we're taking him to a hockey game tomorrow and it might get challenging since it's kinda late...it'll be the first time we're gonna be out during his bedtime so we'll see how it goes.
    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.Ummm, we have a Safety 1st All-in-one convertible c/s and honestly, it's the only one that we've been able to fit in our car with the most amt of room for MH so it's now our fav car seat since it fits our car + MH the best. I guess I don't really have any other gear to recommend per-se since we generally go for the economical choices and it has certain flaws but nothing I'm not able to work around and deal with...
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.) Nope. Only in private albums, but *not* FB (I don't trust FB--I think they're too "loose" in their standards when it comes to selling/sharing their users' info). Sometimes I post here but it would then have to be a link to a public pic (which I delete in a week or so) so then the pic would be gone so it would be temporary. For me, I personally hate having an identifiable presence on the internet so I try to protect LO from it--mainly so that if he feels the same way when he's older, then it's ok because I haven't posted all this stuff for/on him already and if he doesn't, then he can post it all himself. So it's more about giving him a choice as to whether he wants to have a presence on the internet or not w/o already doing it for him.
    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it?
Yup, I think it's natural (esp when u do things like lock ur keys in the car with LO and the windows all rolled up =P) but yeah, if it's traumatic like that, I'll cry. But MH will always make me feel better. And in reality, LO wants his mommy and daddy the most regardless, so even if we sometimes make mistakes (which is inevitable b/c we're human) we're still the best people for him.
    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?Mainly, the only thing I do religiously is take my prenatal vitamins everyday. I also often take calcium/vitamin D supplements if I don't get enough calcium-rich foods that day. Other than that, I actually don't really pay too much attention EXCEPT that I try to eat organic (esp for the dirty dozen fruits/vegs) and I try to eat a variety of things and sometimes even a whole box of those frosted Lofthouse cookies (for some reason, I get hankering cravings for them!) in one day but I try to do that only once a week max (like a splurge day) =P MH thinks I should eat more calories for milk production and b/c we're trying to fatten LO up...lol

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?

13 months and 3 weeks old

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

Tired...after surviving 5 days away from Libby I am barely surviving my return. She has been really clingy, which I expected, but she also being mean and hitting and biting me. She's also refusing to sleep and we've been spending HOURS trying to get her down for naps and sleep. It's exhausting. It makes me feel really horrible for leaving her and disrupting her little world. I hope it passes soon. I am sure the time change doesn't help matters and the fact that I got home on Sunday and then my mom left on Sunday. So Libby's world is still sorta upsidedown.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?

    See #2 above.

    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.

Ooh! This is my question! I want to get Libby a tricycle but am not sure which one. We orginally considered a Kettler but they're so pricey. Then we got a Radio Flyer from my BFF. But I returned it because there was no push handle. We want one we can push easily. So now we're looking at the Schwinn Easy Steer Trike Bike. What do you all have?

For convertible carseat we got the Britax Boulevard CS 70 in Waverly. We've only been using it a couple of weeks, but so far so good. It was easy to install. Libby's not a fan of the chest clip stabilizers (the rubbery grip that goes around the clips) and has been chewing on them. We need to get a secondary/travel seat for DH's car and am not sure what to get.

We also need a stroller since we cannot use the Snap N Go anymore. I'd like something fairly lightweight that can travel well. I got a second hand jogger for around the neighborhood but it's not exactly small. So I need something I can pop into the car and take on the plane easily. Something that has tall enough handles and a wide enough wheel base so we don't kick it when we walk is ideal. I am considering the Chicco Liteway.

    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.)

I do...on my blog, FB and here. That said, sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't. At least on FB I can put up my restrictions to just friends and family. I don't want some weirdos having pics of my LO. I dunno. So many mommies blog, I guess I never really questioned it. It could be a security issue though since it wouldn't take much from some weirdo to find us IRL. Maybe I should make my blog private.

I put the pics on FB because 99.9% of our friends and family live far away and this is the way that can share in Libby's life...growing up and milestones...on a regular basis.

    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it?

Uh, in a word, yes. Not sure how I overcome it...chocolate? Not for her, for me! I pretty regularly beat myself up for various parent and mother related things. It's a work in progress.

    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?

I've been lucky to have very few supply issues...in fact I had oversupply for the first 6 months! When my supply dips I am just sure to eat oatmeal for breakfast. If I feel I need an added boost, I'll have a cup of Mother's Milk Tea (Yogi Brand). Last week, when I was OOT, I ate oatmeal most days but never drank the tea and had no issues. Even with AF's arrival on Sunday.

As for nutrients, I take my PNV daily and eat a variety of whole foods and avoid fast food and prepackaged things. Recently, I've started having a glass of wine once or twice a week, but always after she's gone to bed, so there's no worries about alcohol being in my milk.

    (9) What other questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins?

For those of you with two or more, how do you handle it? I am ready to be pregnant again but cannot really wrap my brain around how to balance two littles!

TTCers:  Which cycle are you on?  Where in the cycle are you?  What, if anything, are you doing/trying for TTC success?

PPAF#3...my cycle seems to be back to "normal"...I don't think I'll be able to consistently temp so I might just try to do it from CD 10-20 or so...will that work or does it have to be everyday?

  • imagelelekay:
For me - I went out to dinner last Thursday (with Lori - yay!)

Woot, woot! Glad your DH is pitching in more too...that's great news! I swear, it does take them some time to get it. Even J is not immune...with me gone last week he realized how much I do in the evenings...dinner, bath, book and night time routine every night whether he is home or not. I think he appreciates more what I do now that he had 5 days without me here.

    imagelelekay:
When fresh organic isn't possible and I feed him conventional or frozen veggies = bad, bad mommy!

But what about the organic lamb chops and mint dinner you made for him? Surely that make sup for some frozen veggies! You HAVE to start blogging the meals you're making for Henry...seriously! I want photos!

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 11 months next week!
    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Tired. A week with no sleep will do that to you. In boy news, we got their tongue ties snipped! SO happy! Will is thrilled - he keeps sticking it out and blowing raspberries. Dash is a bit more uncertain and not really giving it a run yet.
    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? Nothing at the moment - I'll make the appointment for their 12 month check up in a few weeks.
    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? Ear infections! Will has one in the OTHER ear now, and Dash suddenly has a mild one in BOTH ears! Thank god for amoxycillin...
    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc. Most of my stuff is different (e.g., Aussie car seats are different than American ones) so probably my only useful recommendation is for my double stroller - Baby Jogger City Mini Double. LOVE. And I do mean LOVE.
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.)  I post them here, on FB and on my blog. Since it's freakishly common for photos of multiples to be stolen (you'd be amazed at how many women pretend to have twins or triplets on forums by using other peoples' pictures!), I always watermark them. The marks could be cropped out, of course, but I figure at least it might deter the lazy thieves lol. As to why...well I guess I'm just a big ole AW! Stick out tongue But more seriously, putting them on my blog is the easiest way to keep family updated with photos.
    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it? I could have written this word for word:imagelelekay:All. the.
As to how I deal with it...pretty much the same as lelekay. I remind myself how awesome my kids are, how well adjusted and socialized they are. That makes me feel a little better, but it never really goes away.
    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO? I tried all the "good BFing foods" and none of them really helped me (like the whole oatmeal thing - really?). Drinking a lot of water did though - I noticed a difference in supply between when I was dehydrated and when I wasn't.
  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?she just turned 16 months!
    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?she can sort of eat with a spoon now.  she still can't really get food into the spoon very well by herself but if i load the spoon up for her, she can get the food into her mouth.  we were really late introducing this skill to her b/c she eats mostly finger foods but once we started working w/her on this skill she picked it up after a little while. i'd like to try a fork w/her soon....
    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?my mom will be here 2 wks from now for a visit and will be staying for 2 wks so that will be fun for her and nice for me (to get a little break/help)
    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?nothing really
    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.infant seat - chicco keyfitumbrella stroller - silver cross fizzconvertible car seat - don't have one yet (can't believe she still fits in her infant seat with at least 1-1.5" of shell above her head) but looking at the britax boulevard and the sunshine kids radiantricycle - haven't even thought that far ahead yet!
    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.) I post here and on FB.  I totally respect and understand why others choose not to but I am just not that concerned about it, personally.  I do limit my privacy settings on FB and do not allow "friends of friends" to see my photos.
    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it?I agree with pp about feeling guilty when I am just sitting there watching her happily play and not interacting with her. sometimes i am just exhausted and i can hardly stay awake enough to keep an eye on her - and I feel guilty for not actively engaging in teaching her something (colors, shapes, etc) while she is playing.  I know it's good for her to play independently and learn stuff on her own, too, but I always feel guilty about not actively doing stuff w/her.
    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?WATER.  lots of water. that is about the only thing I have to keep an eye on to make sure my supply is ok.  I've never had to change my diet to include supplements, teas, oatmeal, etc and I am thankful for thatas far as changing my diet to provide all the right nutrients for her - I haven't/don't - except for taking PNVs and Vit D supplements.  your body always makes sure your LO gets what is most important first and then you get the 'leftovers' so I just made sure to consume enough calories to produce enough milk and then let nature do the rest.  I was losing some weight in the beginning b/c I think I was burning more calories than I was consuming...so for a while there my goal was to increase fat/calories in my diet for her but otherwise I haven't done anything specific.  I avoid fast food for the most part (when i was losing weight I was eating it to increase calories) but I don't particularly go out of my way to buy organic, or eat well balanced meals.  I eat lots of meat, carbs, and desserts :) Part of me is still BFing b/c it allows me to eat whatever I want and when I stop BFing I will have to modify my diet and eat less bad stuff :(

she can sort of eat with a spoon now.  she still can't really get food into the spoon very well by herself but if i load the spoon up for her, she can get the food into her mouth.  we were really late introducing this skill to her b/c she eats mostly finger foods but once we started working w/her on this skill she picked it up after a little while. i'd like to try a fork w/her soon....

LB does better with a fork actually, b/c he doesn't have to worry about twisting it and having it fall off.  and he's getting the hang of stabbing things.  We will try spoon again soon.

J has taken to thinking he needs to eat everything with a spoon/utensil - it's kind of cute when he picks things up, puts them on his spoon, and then guides it to his mouth.  I think it's a mix of being in the next room of kids where a majority of them do eat with a spoon and watching us.  OH MY is it messy!  he misses half the time and also rather than discreetly starting to push food off the table when he's done he just starts flinging his food.  I want my finger food eating baby back! :)

  • Inamra,

thanks again for doing this.  Could you take out J's name and exact b-day?

    Thanks!!

  • (1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 6.5 months

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  We officially started solids last week!  Peas!  I wish I would have started with something else, but I was leaning to the theory of starting with something not so sweet.  This weekend I am going to introduce something sweeter, maybe bananas or sweet potatoes.  Adair is sitting up on her own pretty well now.  I still stay close by just in case of a tumble, but if you sit her up, she is generally going to stay there.  Crawling is immenient.  She gets on all fours and just rocks back and forth.  As soon as she figures out how to really move those arms and legs, we are in trouble!  Let the childproofing begin!!

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?  Monday to follow up on an ear infection in both ears.  If she is all better, then 4 month shots!  (yep, she is already 2 months behind.  sigh.)

    (4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?  nothing new...it is just tough to work all day and then still get everything done at home & feel like you get any quality family time.  But that's life.

    (5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.  We have the Chicco Keyfit infant carseat, but quickly approaching the weight limit.  Interested in everyone's reviews for convertible c/s.  I am not sure of the name, but I have a chicco umbrella stroller we got as a gift.  I haven't even taken it out of the box yet, so no reviews yet.

    (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.)  I do here & FB.  I don't do a ton of it, but I like to share pics of my girl.  I have FB set to the highest privacy settings so on the rare occasion that I post pics, it is only to my friends.

    (7) Do you ever have "mommy guilt"? What do you do to help overcome it?  Of course, I think most moms do, but my guilt is more about not being with her more.  I know that is crazy b/c I am with her at all times other than when I am at work, but I just try to be the best mom I can be when I can be there.

    (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?  I don't do too much different than I normally would.  I try to eat pretty healthy anyway.  I don't eat fast food or too much processed stuff anyway.  I always take my PNV (though I am bad about remembering the Expecta now)  I stay away from food color and artificial sweetners (which is also why I think I can't lose the last 10 pg lbs...hopefully as soon as I can switch back to diet drinks they will come off!)  As for supply, if I notice a dip, I will drink the Mother's Milk tea and eat some oatmeal, but I am really not sure it makes a difference.  Drinking enough water is definitely important for my supply though.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?6 month appt(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?I still really struggle with whether E is napping enough during the day.  some days I'm okay with him not sleeping, some days it totally stresses me out.(5) Recommend your gear! Convertible c/s, lightweight stroller, tricycle, etc.i LOVE our chicco keyfit.  and the snap n go - though I wish the basket opening was bigger in the back (where you stand/push) instead of in front.  makes access a little annoying.  no recs yet for anything beyond the infant stage! (6) Do you post photos of your LO online? Why/why not? (respect that some people are sensitive to their LO's face appearing online - curious to know how many feel this way.) I post here, on FB, on flickr, and on our baby blog.  FB settings are set to certain friends only.  flickr is private, so you can only see the photos if you have the right link.  the blog is password-protected.

What do you do to help overcome it?what leah said! (8) For BF mama's, what/is did your diet consist of throught your BF days to make sure you produce enough and provide all the right nutrients to your LO?lots of water.  i never noticed a difference when I ate oatmeal.  I don't do anything different now - just try to eat fairly healthily, like normal.  i'm not always good about taking my PNV Embarrassed I need to be better at it...and calcium too, especially since I'm diary free now.
