I went ahead and booked the higher point value yet I still have 9 points left. And I used 4 points on candy. WTF?!?! I'd have 1/3 of my points left after 3 satisfying meals if I hadn't caved and had candy?
Although I know some of the gals on here haven't had success with WW lately, I have been having great success, so has my husband. One thing that I have found is that I have to kind of gauge my success and adjust my points accordingly. Like I am allowed 29 points, but if I eat 29 points every day plus my weekly points, I would be a) stuffed and looking for things to eat at night, and b) I do not think I would see the progress that I have seen.
Maybe it defeats the purpose of using WW since the points are supposed to be set for you specifically and stuff, but I feel like 29 points is way too many for me, so I don't eat that many. I have a couple splurges a week and the rest of the time, I eat very sensibly.
I have lost more than 15 pounds since Jan 10th using WW. I was unable to lose any weight before.
Just my thoughts.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

I agree with a lot of this. I just re-joined WW again after trying to lose weight on my own with counting calories. PointsPlus is just a way of manipulating calorie counting, but it works for me because it encourages me to make better choices (by assigning lower point values to power foods) and the weeklies give me the flexibility to splurge when I want to. Also there is something to be said for paying for a program sometimes as opposed to getting it for free.
I also aim to stay within my daily total, which is currently 34. I usually feel very satisfied on that amount. I will dip into my weeklies some for a treat.
