Babies Are Here

Wow, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get on here to let everyone know but our babies were born on Saturday October 25th at 3:06pm and 3:08pm. Benjamin Alexander was born first and weighed in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and Katelyn Elizabeth was born 2 minutes after and weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces. They are both doing great and spent no time away from us, they were able to come right to the room after I got all stiched up. The c-section went sooo much better than I had thought and was less painful too.

The babies arrived early because Friday night (24th) I had a horrble headache and when DH took my blood pressure it was really high so we called the on call doctor and she wanted us to come in, we were admitted and had to spend the night. She was hoping that we would be able to head home on Saturday but my blood pressure wasn't able to be stabillized so she wanted to go ahead and deliver me. After the surgery my blood pressure spiked again so they had to put me on magnesium and I was on that for 2 days and finally stabilized. I now am on blood pressure medicine for a couple week until it works itself out.
