So far so good, surprisingly. She had just woken up from her nap when I picked her up from DC yesterday at 4:30, which is not typical. She's usually up by 3:30 or so. And a few other kids were still asleep when I got there, which never happens. So their schedules were definitely off! But thankfully, it hasn't seemed to affect bedtime for us yet. We did put her down later than normal on Sunday night though. Last night she was worn out from swimming lessons, so that worked in our favor, I'm sure!
She is not reacting the way I thought she would. I thought she'd sleep in and not be tired at her bedtime at night. But it's been the opposite. She's been getting up earlier and been exhausted before her normal bedtime. Kinda strange, but we're going with it.

We've had some very restless nights the past few days. Between DST and him coming down with a cold (I think - found out yesterday all the kids in DC were snotty except him), he's not eating or sleeping well at all.
He's been fighting bedtime for a couple weeks now, so I don't think DST has had any effect. Falling asleep at the same time, sleeping in an hour later or more, which is awesome!
Jocelyn has been waking later and more cranky before naps. We've been on a 3-4 hour nap streak lately and with DST it's been pushed to closer to 4 hours so I have to wake her up, the other day I fell asleep and she slept almost until 5! She's been going to be later too. I figure by the end of the week things will even out and she will start waking at her normal time. I feel bad for DH because he is missing her in the mornings now and she keeps asking for him.

It has been a nightmare. Previously, Keira has not been phased 1 bit by any time changes with DST in the spring or fall. But good gracious. She JUST adjusted to her new nap schedule--- 1pm to about 4pm. Day 1 of DST she woke up at 8:30, which was not too abnormal. Since the napping switch she started getting up at 7-7:30, but she has always varied on wake-ups from 7am-9am depending. She was awake at 8:30 and didn't nap. I tired to keep it at 1 adjusted time, and it was a big fail. She was so exhausted bed time went fine at 8pm like normal.
Day 2 nap went ok and she was up by 4 and went to bed on time. Yesterday was a mess. She went down later due to my dr. apt running late and slept for 4 hours, waking up at 5:30 and didn't fall asleep until 9pm. I normally wouldn't have let her sleep but we had both had a horrible day (3 hr doc apt.) and were worn out.
Praying today I can normal her out! We are all tired and for some reason the time change this time around seems rough on everyone.
Not so great. Sunday night, she didn't go to bed until 10:30 (her bedtime is 9). Didn't sleep well all night. Woke up at 6:30 yesterday morning, laid in our bed with daddy while i was in the shower and fell back asleep. then she did not want to wake up when i woke her at 7:15. grumpy all morning.
then we got home from daycare yesterday and she was beat, she didn't eat dinner and actually fell asleep on the couch for an hour (6:30-7:30).
then 9:00 came and she didn't want to go to bed. she laid with me on the couch and then went to bed at 9:30.
Pretty good so far. He didn't take a nap on Sunday, which helped getting him to bed at his normal time. He slept in late (as late as I could let him) Monday morning, was super tired last night so went to bed again at a good hour, and then woke up a little late this morning, but still on his own before we had to leave.
I've actually never had an issue with either girls with DST change. We moved their nap time by 30 min on Sunday to keep them slightly on track and then just put them to bed at their normal bedtime based on the clock time (i.e. 7:30 and 8:00 p.m.). Since I have to get them ready for the day before I start work, I still got them up at the same time I normally would have so I didn't have worry about them sleeping later and throwing off the rest of the day, etc. I don't know if I don't typically have issues because I still base their naps and bedtime on what the clock says but it's worked well for us.
DS JUST started STTN so I'm still holding my breath. Last night he woke up at 2am and DH fed him 3oz and then he didn't wake up until 8am. (bedtime 9pm)...and that's been the worst so far. Otherwise he's STTN from 9p-6a-ish...nurses and then goes back to sleep until 8 or 9.

I also hate waking up in the dark. :-(
