WHERE do you feel movement?

I think I just felt movement about 10 min ago, but it was on my left side about 4 fingers below my rib cage. It def was an unfamiliar feeling I can't describe. Am I looking for stuff that isnt there? Is it possible to feel the baby over on the side and not the center? Sorry if this is a newb question. I just have no clue!

i feel movement below my belly button and towards my left side (left of center)... i dont think my uterus is up above my belly button yet.

My baby is still a few fingers below my belly button... sitting RIGHT on my bladder, nice and low. He is just off to the left a little bit. The top of my uterus is just now even with my belly button, according to my ob at my appt yesterday, and I'm a few weeks ahead of you... so I think that what you felt must have been something else. Bummer! But, you'll feel your baby soon, I'm sure!

thank ladies! In theory, I knew the feeling should be more or less closer to my belly button. But I was sitting here on the phone and work and had the oddest sensation and I had to ask. Thanks so much!!

I also have felt the baby right below my belly button. Hopefully you will feel your LO soon

Most of the time I feel it a couple inches below my belly button. But during the AS the tech was saying how high the baby was, and she had the wand almost at my sternum, and I felt kicks ABOVE the belly button for the first time (I carry high)

I have felt it pretty low and to one side. I almost felt like it was too low to be the baby, but maybe not. And it's a bit of a light stabbing pain as opposed to a flutter. WIth my luck it's just gas

I usually feel him to the left of my belly button. Hope this helps!

that's most likely too high for where your uterus is probably at right now--it'd probably be more around your belly button--lower, if it's your 1st--than near your rib cage.

I'm over 17 weeks and at my ultrasound I was shocked how high she was going. I am totally carrying high and she was going from low to my belly button and all across my mid section to get all her measurements. I usually feel movements on the left side a bit below/around my belly button and now I am starting to feel it lower and all over. What you described definitely is possible!!!

To some of the PP: four fingers below the rib cage is close the belly button region for me...so I wouldn't say it's TOO high.
