I HAVE A CRIB!!!!

Gah! That's so exciting. DH put it together today and it looks great! I can't wait until I get the mural painted and the decorations up on the walls. Sadly her room will be the best looking room in the house. Hopefully it doesn't stay that way for long though.

I like the color, it looks good with the dark wood.

I am in the same boat...the nusery is definitely the best looking room in the house. I put together the crib last week and did the wall decals while my husband brought up the dresser. Yesterday I added the wall letters, hung curtains...and it's finally coming together.

One step at a time!

I still have to make the curtains and the cribskirt. Its just so much work I don't want to do it yet.

I'm so glad its sunny out so you guys can see the wall color. I love it. It turned out just the way I wanted it to.

My nephew (8 next month) says its not girly enough. He wanted pink. Lol. Hopefully he feels like we make it girly with the pink accents.

Yay for the Lauren! Let me know if you are looking for a dresser recommendation - I found one on Overstock that matches really well and is real wood. DH set it up a few weeks ago and it looks great!

Oh yes please! How much was it? We are on a pretty strict budget right now so we were just going to use my old small dresser that is totally the wrong color. If the dresser you recommend is a good price though I might consider getting it.

That is awesome! What other colors are you doing in the room?

We're going with a spring garden type theme. So we have pale pinks, blues, greens, and purples.

Yup, pastels too. The furniture will all be the espresso color. The room doesn't get a ton of natural light, which is why (with the dark furniture) we wanted to pain the walls a light, warm color. Accesories around the room will be mainly powder blues, yellows, and greens.

I have the same crib, but in white. And putting it together is about as far as we've gotten on our nursery as well...LOL!
