Following up on my Oh Sh*t post last week...how long did it take to get Ben to switch to "oh shoot"?  My Jillian will repeat it after us but return to the original phrase nearly immediately.  After I put her in bed last night I could hear her repeating "Oh Sh*t, Oh Sh*t, Oh Sh*t" over and over. We are hosting a gathering after a funeral on Saturday.  If this keeps up, it's going to be real fun.

    I honestly don't remember. I hope it's fast for you. I just would pretend like oh *** didn't even mean anything. I didn't say it was a bad word or anything. I'd just say "you mean oh shoot??"

    You could also try changing it to something hilarious. Ben used to say "oh fish sticks" or "pickle juice". I think those both cane from tv shows. But if you start using really funny words when you drop things or whatever and thn laugh and laugh at it maybe she will switch so she gets the funny tresponse?
