  • Babies under 2 are free. I'm not sure what the member deal you got, it is for children too? DD has been once and she really liked it (she was 8 months old). We took the carrier with us, and each of us switched carrying her. She was awake for part of the trip, and sleep for the second part. I plan to take her back this summer too. I think she'll get more out of it now that she older.

  • Dah you are right he is free.

It was 159.00 for two adults and up 4 children. We only have one child so if we do it we may just do two adults for the 15 months.

** thanks again for the coupons

  • We rec'd the same deal in the mail and just became members.  M is 18 months now and has been twice prior to us purchasing the membership (1x @ 7mo and the other at 12/13 mo).  He definitely likes it now but I will be honest that I am disappointed but just how busy the aquarium is.  I thought that if we bought a membership that it would be less crowded during the week and while it is less crowded there are still a ton of people there.  We also have a membership to the zoo and to the MD Science Center and tbh I like going to both of those places better.  Oh but I should add that M LOVED the dolphin show.

  • I just looked up the website and the price for kids is for 3 and up so I guess LOs are free at 2 as well.  We were planning on doing this as well.  I did not get such a deal in the mail):  Do you know where you got it from?

We are members at the zoo too.

I think the aquarium would be a great options on really hot days and really cold days.  I agree weekends get super crowded but I have a lot of weekdays off so it will be really nice for me.  The no stroller rule kept me from going yet but I think DS will love it.  He loves animals.

    Thanks

  • i am not sure how we got the special but i did see it was only one hundred and nine dollars for a couple and then i just would take lo in for free. i know its busy but i think it will be something fun to do when we can. plus its considered a donation so tax deductible. woot woot

daisy call the aquarium and   see if u can get a deal.

  • We got a yearly membership the day Aiden turned two, so it allowed us to take him for free till he turned three.  We went about four times, and he loved it.  Just be aware that the aquarium doesn't allow strollers, so you'll need to use a carrier or hold your child.

  • Just enter: MEM11B under mail code to get the extra three months.

And not trying to hijack but I just have to say again that I totally recommend checking out the Science Center too. They have an AWESOME toddler/preschool/grade school roome (birth-3rd grade).  My son adores their water table and has so much fun going to all of the different exhibits in there.  He also enjoys the dinosaurs and the crabs there too.

This is why we haven't taken LO yet.  He is walking and everything now, so it will be okay.  I was upset to hear that and was not willing to carry LO around, so we never went.

Thank you for the code and the suggestion.  We have been to the science center with my nieces.  We keep meaning to take DS.  Unfortunately I work a lot of weekends and my DH works during the week.  Seems like when we have time off together there is something else planned):  We are going to the zoo saturday weather pending.  If it rains the science center sounds like a great backup!!
