This is just teething, right? All night toddler nursing

For the last week or so DD has been nursing all.night.long.  I thought she was doing that before, but now it is REALLY all.night.long.  It is super uncomfortable for me because she doesn't just nurse (like she did as a baby) but has to fiddle around with my breast, the strap to my tank top, kick around, etc...and the pressure from all those teeth does not help much, either.  She's still working on the last of her one-year molars, which have taken a phenomenal amount of time to come in, and the canines look like they're starting to emerge.  Aaaargh.  I have tried to tell her after she's been at it forever that milky needs to take a nap, and sometimes that will buy me a brief break, but not for long.

I guess this is more of a vent than anything, but if anyone can tell me this won't keep up for very long, that would be great as well!

  • We had a similar experience during the one year molars, and now again during the 2 year molars.  But I did get a reprieve in there :) Hang in there mama.
