My son has SPD, auditory processing and fine motor issues.
I am going to be heading to an education store because I want to find triangular pencils so my son can grip them easier and help him to learn to write better. (he is just about to turn 4).. The store is about an hour away so I gotta get as much as I can on this first run.
Is there anything else that you can recommend that I purchase to help him? I know this is such an open ended question (a question I am going to ask his teacher/aids) but I wanted to start here and see what you thought. We need to work on his fine motor skills, calming skills, and visual awareness <putting puzzles together, which he cannot do)
Thanks so much
Re: Auntie or anyone else??
Auntie--
A million thanks for compiling that list (and the links!) You work fast! The bump should pay you!
I will speak with my son's teachers. You have given me the info I need to at least sounds like I know what they are talking about!
Thanks again
