uterus septum - any success?

have any of you ladies had success after a uterus septum surgery or bicornuate uterus? i just found out tonight i have a septum and will need surgery. i am heartbroken and hopeful. any success stories are welcomed...

Yep...it took a little while because we wanted to try all options, but I had a septum removed at the same time I had my Lap in Oct 09.

Thank you! Your story is inspiring and your girls are truly beautiful. Can you tell me, did your doctors ever think that you would have any issues getting PG after the surgery? Does it set me up for further complications or a needed c-section in the future. I want to believe that once I have this fixed, I am "back to normal." Thanks again.

Nope, they didn't expect any issues getting pregnant at all, especially since my septum was small.

But, my Peri did deliver me at 36w2d with twins because I got pregnant so soon after my septum surgery and he wasn't the one who did the surgery, so he never saw how it healed. He didn't want to risk uterine rupture with a twin pregnancy by letting me go longer, but I had ZERO signs of complications.

I had one too! I think it was removed in July. I did clomid +iui a couple cycles and it didnt work so I went in for a Lap in Nov (shoulda just done it all at once but I was stupid)

I ended up having stage 2 endo as well. So once all that was gone and my body healed I finally got my BFP in Jan but it ended in c/p. But I got anther one the next month and I am currently 7.5 weeks along hoping this one sticks!!

I had a large septum removed and had a lap to remove fibroids and stage 2 endo at the same time. I had to wait two cycles before TTC again but didn't have to do a balloon or any hormone therapy. I did get pregnant during our next attempt without any intervention. I have to have a csection, but not due to the septum resection.

The recovery wasnt as bad as I thought. It was less than the lap. Are you considering doing a lap at the same time? I really didnt have any symptoms so I opted to wait, I thought I would get ku before that was necessary. boy was I wrong! I did not have a balloon or estrogen - do they think you will?
