1) I am loving this first shift thing. We are actually busy during the morning and the time flies by until lunch and after lunch I only have three hours of work left!
2) I am not loving that I still have this stupid cold.
3) DW and I both have vacation time next week!!!!
4) I found out two days ago that my bff from Nebraska is coming to OH in June. She and I shared due dates so her daughter is Ky's Nebraska twin! Of course Ky came about 5 days early and S came a day late lol!
5) My othter bff moved to IN a few months ago (her daughter is 15 months, so we were all preggo together with girls) but the three of us are going to all meet up when L is in town for a big playdate and I cannot wait!
6) The last time all three of us were together we were all preggo!
7) I am tired of all of this rain....bleh.
8) We looked ahead to the weather for next week and it apperas to be getting warmer and drier.....
9) I am not holding my breath!
10) I think I need to buy some flavored creamer and drink the coffee in the break room rather than buying coffee every morning. Any flavor/brand suggestions??
1. These past couple weeks the world has been weighing heavily on me.

3. I've had an english muffin for breakfast every morning for almost three weeks! Are they the cause of my depression?
4. We're getting ready for tries number three and four. We're B2Bing it this time, with high hopes.
5. I'm ready to get off this roller coaster. I don't know how you ladies do it, you know who you are.
6. Since February, K and I both lost our Grandpas. We're planting a vegetable garden this spring and we'll call it The Grandpa Garden. We want to donate to a food bank on a weekly basis in honor of my Grandpa Fred who spent his adult life feeding the hungry.
7. K and I made a care package for a good friend who's going through a hard time, and I'm really excited for her to get it. We included sugar cookies (an apple, a princess tiara, and a pink heart), a letter of recommendation from K, a bunch of burned cds, homemade hot cocoa, and a concert ticket to Ray Lamontagne (sp) and Brandi Carlile!
8. My high school bestie is coming over this weekend with her husband and baby! I can't wait to see the LO, I've only met him once before! I love 3 month olds!
9. I'm eating my 2nd English muffin...
10. I'm always running late for work on Tuesdays b/c of this!
1. I have to give back my loaner vehicle today :-(
2. Most people would be happy about #1, but I'm giving back my dream car.
3. TMI ahead - JB didn't nurse this am (we got up late and I gave her a bottle of pumped) and I haven't been able to pump yet. My boobs burn.
4. My work event might already be sold out. This isn't necessarily a good thing.
5. A coworker is out on medical leave until at least the end of the month. I don't know why and I'm worried.
6. Last night I really missed my wife.
7. I got the design file for JB's bday invites. I can't wait to print and send them!
8. Mandy - I eat an english muffin with PB almost every morning.
9. This time change has really messed with me.

1. We are leaving for New Zealand on Friday, and that's pretty much the only thing on my mind . . .
2. Besides all of the work I am magically supposed to finish before I leave. Not going to happen.
3. I'm so happy that it's spring. I don't care that it's still 40 degrees every morning. It's spring, damn it.
4. Today is my parents' 37th anniversary. The best thing their marriage has taught me: Take what feels right from each of your families - traditions, advice, methods - and leave the rest behind. By carrying only the best forward, you will make a happier life for your children than you had. I loved my grandparents but they did a lot of things wrong, and I really appreciate how hard my parents worked to not repeat their mistakes.
5. Clearly, I am doing a terrible job of staying off the internet at work for Lent.
6. I'd rather have good fruit than a good donut, but I'd rather have a bad donut than bad fruit. Bad fruit sucks.
7. The bus to the airport is $3. Car service is $80. Dang.
8. We watched the Les Mis 25th Anniversary Concert on PBS last night. Wow - if you're a fan of the show, it's REALLY good. Especially Javert, Valjean and Fantine.
9. I want to quit my job and go volunteer for the Red Cross full time.
10. I should work, since I'm not going to do that anytime soon.
1) I just found out that i have to jump through extra hoops to register Sprout for K b/c he's a foster child. grumble.
2) I'm using a portion of my bonus to re-do our bedroom. I'm so excited to finally have a grown-up room!
3) Daisy slept awesome last night. i love that little bug.
4) I realized yesterday that we dont have a single picture of all of us. thats sad.
5) BM has cancelled visit for the past 3 weeks. Think she'll make it tomorrow?
6) despite doing so well the past couple weeks, i've totally lost motivation on the "cook healthy yet delicious meals from scratch" plan.
7) its oddly quiet at work today.
8) I'm struggling to come up with things, so I'll just finish it there

1. I continue to obsess about the fact that Greece plane tickets cost a lot more than I want them to.
2. My itty bitty nephews turn 2 this weekend... I cannot believe it.
3. I am seriously considering applying for a teaching job at a charter school... this feels a little insane. I wish I had any idea if they'd hire me, or if I'd like it.
4. We decided to start charting my temperatures this month...its not going well, and making me nervous. But we're not planning to actually start for a while, so I don't really know what to do with this information.
5. I ate my lunch brownie already.
6. I'm so tired, I think daylight savings has thrown me off.
7. I think I need a new hobby, other than internet research.
8. My coworker just turned her monitor so I couldn't see it.. now I'm way more curious.
9. I feel like we should be beyond Tuesday by now.
10. My mouse is sticky... I guess some kids were playing in my office during a meeting yesterday. That's fine, but I don't appreciate the sticky!

Cautiously optimistic.
1. We went to the desert yesterday and were so tired when we came home that we took a nap at 6pm, I woke up around 7 and was up until 12 but J and A were done for the night.
2. I am going to practice cornrowing on A's hair today.
3. I am patiently waiting for a call or an email to let us know if we get our overnight visit with LO this week.
4. Why does everyone think I'm crazy for wanting LO to wear an afro? She has major breakage and needs a style that doesn't pull her hair... Plus, afros are adorable!
5. A has had a hard time with us buying new clothes and shoes for LO this week.
6. I'm cooking steel cut oats and am probably too excited for it to be done. The texture is awesome, so much better than rolled oats.
7. We need a professional organizer to do some work in our home.
8. And someone to talk to J about how her clutter affects the rest of the family.
9. I need to make a Home Depot trip to buy plants for the garden. I've been craving fresh fruit and veggies.
10. I've sort of fallen off the vegetarian wagon... I need to climb back aboard.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
1. I started doing this 3 hours ago..a lot has happened since then.
2. I got a call to pick up the kids from school because Carter has a fever and Grayson said he didn't feel well. We are home.
3. Because is was .3 over the tempreture limit, Carter can't go to school tomorrow. Sigh. I have worked exactly one 5 day work week since December due to snow/ice, sick kids, holidays, and vacations. My poor vacation hours. I am praying L can split tomorrow with me.
4. The kids must have really been tired. There were no complaints going to take a nap. YAY!
5. If I had known I would have been home 5 hrs early today, we wouldn't have stayed up late last night finishing up the consignment stuff.
6. I love my new iPhone. LOVE it.
7. I am excited about a couple of upcoming vacations!
8. I need to eat lunch. I didn't eat dinner last night or breakfast this morning and was en route to lunch when I got the call. Since yesterday at this time, I have only had a mocha and some gum. Humph.
9. Well, at least being home this afternoon will give me a chance to do some things around the house.
10. I love 4y olds. They are a great mix of funny, quirky, independent, inquisitive, and cuddly.
1. I made Martha Stewart's banana bread (YUM!) and fresh guacamole for lunch - I had no idea how weird that combo was until I typed it out. Good news, today is a 'good' day and I can actually eat - so eat, I will!
2. I have my month 3 ob appointment at 3:45. I am pretty nervous. I hope she can find the heartbeat on the doppler
3. I hope she doesn't tell me I gained 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks
4. Tomorrow night (7pm) is my 2nd u/s to check up on the SCH. I don't doubt I am pregnant until an u/s appointment comes along.. and then I start to freak out about not hearing a heartbeat.
5. I had to stop myself from running out the door to pay for an extra u/s all morning.
6. My NT scan is next week. We will be seeing a whole lot of that little bugger in the next 7 days. Fingers crossed everything is going smoothly in there.
7. I have to email Mrs. F. She just got a library card and the library is in my back yard. so weird.
8. She reminded me about our conversation about the local community garden. I can't wait to get my spot.. I wonder if she is getting one too.. what a fun summer that would be! Though I haven't a clue how to garden... hence the community garden and not digging up K's well tended to lawn.
9. The banana bread smells soooooo good (the guac is giving me a stomach ache though. fail.)
10. Did I say I am nervous about the next 2 days of appointments?! well, in case you missed it.. I am.
I'm curious to know more about this. Maybe it should be it's own thread. Obviously K is an older mom and she and I have a significant age difference. I wonder if the difference you see between you and C are the same as we have. There are many many times that I act/react like the older person. I sometimes think her parenting style and mine could swap generations.
1) HELP, just had peri appointment and have to have emergency cervical cerclage.
2) I am freaking out but staying calm in front of M ...
3) I knwo this is common with twins and bedrest and all 20 weeks is too early to have a baby sorry my mind is going crazy

I am 12.5y younger than L. Generally we are on the same page with our parenting styles. She is probably a bit more "modern" and I am probably a bit more "traditional" - but not much.
You've got the best three right here, how many more do you need? ;-) I think the age difference thing is more common among the boys but obviously lesbians tend out pace the guys on having/adopting children.
1. It's my first day in the office since Thursday after a long weekend away at the beach with my girlfriend.
2. And why am I on the board with a pile of sh!t to do on my desk? Because it's TTT, of course!
3. We had the most fantastic relaxing trip. We go together like mac n cheese.
4. Friday morning I got texts from 3 friends at work (all mommies) checking on my GF and I as there were tsunami warnings on the coast. This was before we had even left the house! Thanks work mommies, we were safe and sound.
5. DD is going through a tough sleeping phase, scared of monsters, etc. She was wide awake in my room at 01:15 this morning. Thankfully I rocked her and managed to get her back in her bed. YAWN...
6. While away at the beach we had a talk about our future plans and I think we're on the same page. We will work towards a move around the time DD finishes kindergarten next year.
7. This weekend we are taking DD to some fun events both Friday and Saturday nights that will mean being up past bedtime. I hope that means sleeping in AND a nap.
8. I love that my girlfriend wants to plan more family trips with DD. Melts.my.heart.
9. Our summer calendar is already getting booked up and it's not even summer yet!!!
10. Sigh...back to work...but I could really use a nap!

I think I got it out of my system .. untill I am bymyself and have a lil freakout and while i am sitting at hospital waiting !!!!
Everything will be fine and this is just something else we have to deal with ( if you knew us you would know we dont do things the easy way ) Its always something..i suppose!

2. Home with my poor sick babe today. She has bronchitis and is taking an antibiotic for the first time. Boo.
3. Thankfully, she seems to be in a good mood, and her temp is normal now. Go antibiotic, go!!
4. I remotely signed on to my computer earlier today while Gwen napped to finish a document that needed to be done. This was a crappy day to be out. We have a big event coming up this weekend, and another early next month that we have to start preparing for. It is busy busy.
5. My boss just agreed at the end of last week that I can work from home one day a week!! We were going to talk details this week... hopefully being out again doesn't make him change his mind.
6. Though we had a dinner event last night that I worked, so I got a half day off today anyway... so technically I'm only taking a half day off.
7. I hope there are still leftovers from the dinner in the work fridge tomorrow... they were really good!!
8. We redid our bathroom floor this weekend and it looks great! I'm so glad we did it... even though it was a longer process then we thought.
9. Gwen and I ran to BB&B to get a new bath mat (and to get out of the house!). Its the little things.
10. I can't believe its only Tuesday... its been a long week already.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

2moms-Hugs and I hope the cerclage goes well. I know a few preemie moms who had sucess with a cerclage. Also our doctor had one and made it to term. I will be thinking of you guys and sending all my good vibes your way. Keep us updated.
1. I am late to ball once again.
2. Work is killing me. The kids are really needy and it is taking all my energy just to get through the day.
3. It is also mid terms for S so I am doing alot of solo parenting right now. I am beyond exhasted.
4. My wonderful wife booked me a 80 min body treatment and massage for sat morning. Oh how I am looking forward to this.
5. Spring keeps peeking in around here and then running away. It was really nice this weekend....Then is snowed yesterday.
6. We took E to Drumlin Farm this weekend. It was so nice to let her play outside. She loved the pig and the chickens. It is an Audubon property and we are members so I see us going there almost weekly this summer. The animals are starting to be born it is awesome!
7. I think we are going to split a share of the csa though drumlin farm. This would def mean that we would be there every week.
8. Speaking of spring my allergies are terrible this week. I swear my sneesing is more a sign of spring than the robins.
9. The time change has been so hard on E. Tonight was the first night that it was not a struggle to get her down.
10. I need to correct tons of stuff. I just have no energy to do so.
