Where in MoCo can I take my DS for a haircut?

I'm looking for a place to get DS's haircut. He's 11 months and we live in Gaithersburg. Are there options other than Cartoon Cuts in Congressional Plaza? Thanks for any suggestions you have!

    I went to Tropicuts in Cabin John mall and had a very good experience. Soba cut DD's hair and the whole experience was very kid-friendly. They had a DVD player for her to watch while they were cutting her hair. Also, they will save you some locks of hair and give you a certificate for his first hair cut if you want it. They charge $18. I don't think they have a website but here's info on Cabin John Mall and it has their phone number.

    If you end up going to Cartoon Cuts, I think someone mentioned you can get a $2 coupon off their website.

    I take E to Yellow Balloon in the Kentlands.  I have found coupons online before.  I would recommend that place.  Good luck, jenn

    I second the Tropicuts suggestion.  Vtkendra suggested it to me a couple of months ago and we took DS there for his first haircut.  He sat like a champ and Soby cut his hair quickly but VERY nicely.  No stray hairs anywhere.  I will go there every time!!!
