Leaving for Surgery

We are scheduled for surgery this morning around 10 to remove Elijah's 'bilateral pre-auricular tags', or ear tags, or 'wingdings' as we like to call them.

The surgery itself is fairly minor, removal of two skin tags on each side, but he will have to have anesthesia to be put to sleep during the surgery. We will both be at UNC-Children's Hospital with our little man and Abigail will be 'chillin' with Granny, Grandad, and Uncle Joe at our house.

Say a prayer for us if you can. Thanks a bunch! We are going to miss those little 'wingdings' -they're just a part of him, but it'll surely make his school years a LITTLE easier. Maybe one less thing to be picked on about.

Good Luck and here's to a speedy recovery. We will keep you guys in our prayers and surgery no matter how minor is scary (for mom Smile at least with me)
