When a sex scene comes on, He just gives me that sad puppy look. My cue: "What?" Then ignore the sad, watery eyes. What a drama queen.
(It does make me feel bad though, like I seriously have no desire for any of that at all. I don't feel bad there's no sex, I feel bad there's no desire. Two nights ago I told him that until I get more sleep, I'll be ready to resume out marital funtimes- but for now, it's a waste of time I could be using to sleep.)
Re: I do not like watching sex scenes in movies with DH.
Actually, sleep may be just what you need to get your desire and stuff back. I saw a special on tv awhile ago and was about sleep and low desire. I worked midnights and was getting 2-4 hours a day and never felt like doing it. I found that when I made more of an effort to get more sleep, my desire came back.
There is some sort of chemical balance between sleep and libido... i should look it up for you.
Don't feel bad... the other day, dh chased me around all day telling me how bad I was gonna get it after the kids went to bed. I gave in and we finally had a good romp session with nice foreplay and stuff... the plan before was that we would go do "the deed" and get up to take care of the baby and watch a movie. After that we would go to bed when we got the baby down. Yeah, he went right to bed, leaving me up to take care of the baby and have the night to myself. I felt so used... he tried again today and I turned him down and told him why. I hope he stews about it all night at work!
This is what I'm worried about. My DH would totally do this, which is why when he comes up behind me trying to rub something on my butt I turn him down hard and fast. He's always trying to get me in the mood, and I actually feel good turning him down.
I really shouldn't give him such a hard time... it usually isn't like this and he has really given me my space with having the baby and all. But this just really hurt my feelings because he was talking me into it and made a big deal about watching a movie and spend time together after... which sounded nice because lately, we have just had time for quickies while the kids are watching cartoons or something.
AMEN!
