  I tried twice. I have tiiiiiiiiiiiny veins, so the first time they couldn't get my vein, the second time it collapsed. Knowing the issues I had with blood draws and IV's during pregnancy, I'm thinking it's not worth the trauma for me.

  I used to donate all the time but then I got pregnant and the Red Cross also said I can't donate if I'm BFing but I don't know if that's true or not. They've been harassing the hell out of me lately so they must need it!! I keep missing their calls.

  I've donated almost 3 gallons since I was 17 (so 10 years), but haven't since being pregnant and now BF.

  I don't know about the bfing thing. DS has milk protein, so I have been done for 60 days.

  DS has acid relux and milk protein allergy, and had torticollis, used to EP, now we FF . April siggy 3-6 month

  I'm a big donater, but couldn't since trying to conceive. I get notices all the time and feel so bad that I can't! We want to have another baby when I'm done BF so I don't think I'll be donating for quite a while!

  I haven't donated since April 2009. I had made an appt to donate the morning before finding out I was pregnant, and obviously had to cancel. I just asked about it yesterday at my annual and I can't donate until I'm done BF. I feel awful getting all the emails about donating and that it's been two years.

  Huh. When they called me I thought they said 12 months. Or maybe I'm confusing that with when I was banned for a blood transfusion.
