I hope you don't mind me joining in some. I'm in NW Alabama and haven't been here for too long so I'm always looking for recommendations. I normally stay on TTGP - we started TTC in October and are fairly sure we're dealing with PCOS with insulin resistance. My OB/GYN didn't actually do all the tests to diagnose me though so that concerns me. It doesn't look like the 1st round with Clomid worked so I'm wondering if I need to be looking into an RE soon to actually deal with my concerns with proper monitoring. Does anyone know of one in NW Alabama?

Re: Intro and a question
Thanks! I am in the Shoals. I'm fairly sure there's not an RE in the area so I guess I would have to look in Huntsville, which is a downside!
Thanks!
Welcome!
I have been seeing Dr. Harper in Huntsville since June of last year and I cannot say enough great things about him and his staff! They are wonderful!

Thank you - that's great to hear! Congratulations!
This is exactly how we feel about Dr. H and his awesome nurses! I have PCOS with IR and he was VERY confident he would get us pregnant. From the beginning he was sure we wouldn't have to go any further than medicine. According to him, it is uncommon to have to use extensive treatments when you're dealing with PCOS. After working out the kinks, we are almost 17 weeks
If you have any questions about Dr. H or PCOS, send me a message. Good luck!
