Looking like a St. Patty's Day baby!!

I had my 39 week appointment this morning. My BP was elevated and I have actually gained 10 lbs in a week. I have no idea how, but I suppose the scale doesn't lie. However, there was no protein in my urine. My doctor was still concerned, so he ordered an u/s and it is estimated that LO is around 9lbs 5oz. Because my BP was so high, my doctor wanted to schedule a c-section. Luck of the Irish has it that he only does (scheduled) c-sections on Thursdays and Fridays, so we are all set to go for a 5:30 pm surgery on St. Patty's Day!

I am nervous about the c-section. I didn't really want to have one, but whatever my doctor thinks will produce a healthy baby and healthy mama, that's what we'll do. DH and I are both very Irish, and LO's name will be Connor Patrick. How fitting

My LB will keep you all updated after Connor arrives, hopefully safe and sound.

We can't wait!!!!

Congrats! I'm Irish too, and I was so excited to have St. Patty's Day as a due date, but alas, it doesn't look like my LO will be coming this week....but so happy for Connor Patrick's upcoming birthday!
