Do you call the day of your IUI/IVF, Day 1?

Just wondering what people do.

If I use the day of IUI as day 1 today is day 11. But if I don't today is day 10.

    If my IUI was today, then tomorrow would be 1dpIUI. So, I dont count it.

    I haven't done IUIs, but I think you count the day of IUI the same as the day you ovulated.  So today would be 10dpo or 10 days after ovulating for you.

    You're getting closer to beta!  How are you feeling?

    IVF #3 = Feb 2012
    beta#1 3/21 (14dp3dt)=413, beta#2 3/23 (16dp3dt)=785, u/s 4/11

    For IVF you start counting the day after a procedure.  So day 1 is the day after ER or ET.

    For IUIs, I did the same.  Counted from the day after the IUI.

    usually you count days past so

    if IUI was Monday, today would be 2dpIUI

    for IVF it would be days past transfer so if you had a 3dt on monday today would be 2dp3dt

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Man I'm an idiot, it's my own post and I got the math wrong in it !

    I meant to say if I counted day of IUI as day 1 today is day 12.

    Counting the next day as day 1 makes today day 11. :slaps self in head:

     

    Faith, I don't know how I feel.... A few days ago I was feeling pretty sure it worked considering I was experiencing some things I have never experienced before.

    But negative HPT yesterday and this morning have me wondering otherwise...

    Hang in there sweetie.  I am feeling pretty much the same as you, doubtful.  We will get through it one way or another!  Not much choice right?

    I still think you are pretty early, so don't get TOOOOOOO discouraged yet!

    2/2011 - Confirmed no improvement - On to Donor Sperm
    4 failed IUIs in 2010
    IUI#5 and 6- with DS, BFN
    Final IUI - Lucky #7! IUI with DS - 20.Jun.2011 - 21.5 mil motile! Not so lucky - BFFN and the end of our IF journey....
    Waiting for our family to be complete through Adoption - May 2012 - Hoping our baby finds us soon!
