Ava turned two on Friday! We went for her well visit yesterday and she weighs 25 lbs (50th percentile) and is 35in (75th percentile)--she was such a good girl!
I cannot believe I'm 23 weeks already! I am starting to see feel movement from the outside which is awesome. The other day DH asked Ava if she wanted to feel her sister move and she brought one of her play spatulas over and put it on my stomach--um ok..ha ha.

to all of this!
Sean is doing really well with his words....he puts a lot of words together now. When he hears DH turn on the shower at night he'll say "Daddy bath?" He adjusted really well to the time change, thankfully! Now if only I could!
Evie is adjusting very well to her helmet. The first 2 nights she had to wear it to be were ROUGH, but I think we turned the corner. The only problem is that she gets super sweaty. I have been putting her in thin pjs and only covering her with a thin muslin blanket. This summer I'll probably have to put her down in just a T-shirt.
And in other news... Evie has been sleeping through the night in her CRIB since Friday! So for we are putting her down in there asleep, but once we have a good routine of crib sleeping we'll work on putting her in her crib awake.
I've changed my schedule to work 4 10 hour days. I don't like having to be out of the house before DD wakes up, but it was nice to get to spend a lot of time cuddling with her yesterday.

I do the 4 10's as well and love it. It's hard getting up so early every day but that extra day is wonderful.
Way to go Evie on sleeping through the night in the crib!!!
I had my 28 week appt yesterday and I am now officially in 3rd tri. I can't believe how fast 2nd tri *flew* by - it's kind of scary actually! I had my 1hr glucose test which I should hopefully hear the results of this week. I really hope I passed and I don't have to go back for the 3hr one!
Baby is moving around everyday, but he doesn't seem to be throwing any crazy dance parties in there or anything. I can see and feel movement from the outside occasionally, but DH hasn't caught it yet.
I'm excited for my shower coming up in about 2 1/2 weeks!

Aww thank you.
BTW, I couldn't get in this post fast enough when I saw you posted in here...I thought maybe you had an announcement to make ..hehehe
Nora moved into the toddler room at daycare last week. She's also saying lots more words (latest are "hello" and "owl") and has started shaking her head "no."
She also loves to Skype and will walk up to the computer desk asking "Em-ma?" because we Skype with my sister most often.
Also, when outside, she wants to walk all the time, and even does curbs and steps!
Mia's going to be 4 in less than a month and I still can't wrap my brain around it. She's gotten so tall and she's firmly out of toddler-hood and is a full-fledged little girl. She's learning to spell, we're working on sight words, she can count to 30. She brushes her own teeth, gets herself dressed, cleans up after herself when she eats and helps feed the bunny rabbit in the mornings.
She absolutely adores school and last night was crying because she missed her teachers and all of her friends. She nags me to do her homework, something I want to get video of to play back when she's in middle school.
A picture from yesterday, wearing a dress that her Daddy picked out for her at Carter's a month or more ago. I found it in a bag in our closet yesterday morning and he wanted her to wear it to school. I threw a pink cardigan on her and called it good enough. She LOVED it.
Michael just had his two month check-up yesterday and did very well with his shots. He is up to 11.1 lbs and 23.5 inches long He is smiling up a storm and is growing out of his colic phase, thank goodness!
Rebecca is at an age that she is so much fun to hang out with. She has grown just enough that she doesn't have to crawl up our steps at home no more. She uses the railing and actually walks up the steps.

M-I'm so happy to hear that Evie is adjusting well to the helmet. Yay for the move to the crib. Here's to sleep through the night. I know we've had some issues with A sleeping off and on through the night. It truly is a huge relief when sleep does happen.

Thank you! I'm excited to have a plan in place, but it's killing me to have to wait. I told DH that it's a good thing I have to make an appointment for the IUD removal because if I was just on the pill, I'd have a hard time staying on the schedule we agreed to.
Today I am 35/35...35 days sounds so short! We're pretty much ready...just have to get the car seat installed, pack the hospital bag and finish up some baby laundry. At my 34 week appt, the Dr felt like she was head down so I am hoping she stays that way! I love feeling her move so much and I think I am going to be a little sad not to feel her anymore once she's here. I mean having her here will be a million times better but I do love the bond we have right now.
My little Aiden is definitely testing out the horrible threes. We've had some tantrums and other little problems at home. Right now, I'm trying to get him to be a little more independent in preparation for when baby comes, and it seems we're going the other way. Other than the behavior issues, he's wonderful. We are working on letters of the alphabet and writing his name correctly (he can spell it aloud but not write it).
My pregnancy is flying by. The nursery is pretty much ready. I have clothes and diapers washed, and DH put the crib back together. We just need to get the big items like the carseat out and clean them. I am really hoping to go full term with this baby.

Great updates from everyone! Avery is doing great. 13 months, cruising everywhere and stood on her own for about 5 seconds and took two little scoot-steps toward the couch. She will be walking soon and I'm so excited.
Another update... I am pregnant! Almost 14 weeks and yes, I will have 2 under 2 this September (yikes). We wanted to keep them close in age but to be honest, I didn't think it'd happen so quickly. First tri has been rough to say the least and as much as I'd like to vent about it, I realize how lucky we are and how the sickness is worth it in the end.
P.S. I am not "Facebook Official" yet since I have a few relatives to tell that I am seeing at a wedding in a few weeks, so please don't post anything there

Updates: The kids are doing great. Kooky as ever.
Brendon
is making strides in everything he does. He knows most colors, can
count to 10, and loves to say his ABCs. He remembers the words to songs
and theme songs He loves to talk and imitate. Unfortunately, little
ears love to listen so last week, he said his first curse word when I
smacked my foot on a toy. We are doing the 3 day potty training next
week so hopefully we will have a potty trained little boy the end of
next week.
Cecilia is climbing on everything. I turned around
last week to see her on the tray of her booster seat. She was strapped
in so imagine my surprise. We had her 1 year appointment today. She
weighs about 17 pounds so still petite but the doctor is happy with her
overall development which is important. She is up to 7 steps. She stands
up by herself in the middle of the room and will take steps on her on
so I guess we have a walker on our hands She still prefers to crawl,
though.
Annabelle has been spoon feeding herself lately. She has always now started to run every where. We are working on her going down the steps. I swear my child would just run off the steps if I wasn't there to catch her. We've been showing her how to come down the steps on her belly.
Here's a few pictures that I posted on FB. She loves her dogs!

Wahoo best of luck!!! Have fun trying! That's the best part besides the scary, fun, excitement of getting the results...and now I am on to the holy moley we're going to be responsible for another human being part that's a whole lotta scary but absolutely wonderful at the same time. So excited for you and your family!
I love reading all of the updates. Everyone's 'babies' are getting so big! Congrats to the recent pregnancies. Lucy isn't really doing a whole lot - staying awake a bit more and having longer times between feedings. She had pretty much outgrown her preemie clothes and more or less fits in newborn stuff. She's weeks and over 6 pounds. She seems so big to me, until I see other babies and realize she is still pretty tiny.
Nothing too exciting here. My son, Evan, turned 5 last month...I can't believe I have a 5 year old!
Ella is 8 1/2 months...I can't believe how much time flies by with the 2nd child! It's crazy! She's such a sweet baby and has so much personality. She's rolling like a crazy girl and I can tell she wants to crawl...but just can't get it yet.
I have the hardest time with siggy pics...let me see if I am able to inset them in the post..
DS started saying duck and quacking. It is so cute.
We went to Storyville over the weekend and he was really scared of a stuffed bear rocking horse there. He kept walking over to it and then running away. But he conquered his fear and touched it when we were leaving!
We intro'd PB and his face/neck broke out a bit...so we'll be trying again in a month or two. We just weaned and he is on 100% WM and doing great.
Finally, he has another flipping runny nose + cough. I'm not even saying he is "sick" because I think it *might* be teething related. But seriously, I am so sick of the snot and the coughing and the crabbiness, argh. I'm calling the pedi if it doesn't seem better by tomorrow and they can dedicate a wing in their new office to us.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

I didn't post before b/c I really couldn't think of anything cute or funny - and other than - "working my last nerve w/ this terrible 2s business" I didn't think that would make for a good update!
But - I remember a good one from teh other day. DD's been really attached to her dolls the last few weeks - and she's been regressing w/ her potty training, so she's have some kind of weird phase right now. Anyway, the other day she told me she wanted to rock her baby in the big rocking chair - so we go up and rock the baby for awhile and DD sings, etc. all cute. Then, I ask her what her baby's name is - she's never had names for her babies, but without missing a beat - she says "George" - which is my husband's name and then hugged and kissed her baby! It was so cute, I think I teared up a little. Anyway - made up for alot of her recent craziness!
Nikki - congratulations!!! OMG how exciting! Avery's going to be a big sister.
I introduced sippy cups to Sydney at 6 months and she did ok with them for a while, then in January she got sick and I barely did anything with them for a month or two. I was cursing myself for not keeping up on them with her because she has been refusing them for a few weeks. Then on Sunday, I tried a different kind of sippy and she did great with it! We have been bottle-free since Sunday morning and I'm so happy. I'm ok if she regresses a little and we go back on a bottle here and there, but I'm thrilled to have found one she likes and will take.

Can I ask what kind of sippy you are using now?
DS will take one, but water ends up everywhere and if we are going to switch to milk in sippys soon I want to get a better one!

Late to the party but I love seeing all these updates
For me, had a scare this past weekend when I started bleeding. I was sure I was miscarrying but the ultrasound showed that the sac/embryo is still very much there and growing, but I had/have blood in my uterus. I'm not celebrating yet, I go in for another u/s on Friday to check if I'm progressing. My doctor seems optimistic because my hCGs are high and continue to double; but I'm not getting too excited yet until I see that heartbeat.
Mama to Baby K. born @25wks due to pProm/PTL. Forever in Our Hearts.
I just scheduled my anatomy scan for April 4th so hopefully things will start moving here...haven't felt any movement and I still think I look like I had too many cupcakes. DH says I look like I have a bump. Otherwise, same old stuff. I guess I'm getting impatient for this pregnancy to really get going.
L has a new word or two every day, and was 28 1/2 lbs and 35 3/4" at her 18 month appt the other day. Oh and she started couting to ten this week! Ok well she usually skips 7 and sometimes 6, but still. I'm proud anyway.
C is thisclose to rolling over from tummy to back. And she is taking bottles from DH with no resistance now, so he is less hesitant to be left alone with both babies now. There goes my last excuse for not exercising.....

Congratulations!! We didn't think it would happen so quickly either. 18 months apart is good. If you have any questions about 2u2, let me know
Updates: The kids are doing great. Kooky as ever.
Brendon is making strides in everything he does. He knows most colors, can count to 10, and loves to say his ABCs. He remembers the words to songs and theme songs
He loves to talk and imitate. Unfortunately, little
ears love to listen so last week, he said his first curse word when I
smacked my foot on a toy. We are doing the 3 day potty training next
week so hopefully we will have a potty trained little boy the end of
next week.
Cecilia is climbing on everything. I turned around last week to see her on the tray of her booster seat. She was strapped in so imagine my surprise. We had her 1 year appointment today. She weighs about 17 pounds so still petite but the doctor is happy with her overall development which is important. She is up to 7 steps. She stands up by herself in the middle of the room and will take steps on her on so I guess we have a walker on our handsI can't believe how fast our kids grow.
Here Annabelle in her new hiking back pack!
Congratulations!
OMG congrats!!!

Kathryn - I teared up a little reading that!
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

Dylan started taking steps about 2 weeks ago! I'm planning his 1st b-day party & am still in shock that it's almost bee a year already ^_^.
My siggy pic is pretty recent, it's from the last "big" snow we had this winter.
