nbr: what browser do you use?

What web browser do you use?  I dislike IE (too many viruses and issues).  I have used Mozilla Firefox for years and have been happy with it, but for the last few weeks, it's been sluggish and irritating.  I've tried Google Chrome and Apple Safari, but haven't put in the time to decide if I really like either of them and want to commit to using them full time.

So, what do you use?  Any suggestions?

  • Firefox.

I'm hoping that they work out what ever has been going on with them these last few weeks because it has been irritating!

  • Chrome...love it, it's much faster than IE.  I have to use IE for some things. On weatherchannel.com I can't get the interactive radar to show up on chrome so I must use IE for that.

  • Chrome.. it's hands down much faster with less overhead than other browsers.

I wish I could download firefox at work but we can't download anything on our work computers if we do not have admin rights.  Heck, I can't even click on the clock in the corner and get it to come up to see a calendar becuase it is on lock down.

  • Chrome. It has the least issues imo and I can send webpages to my phone with chrome to phone. I love google, but they will probably turn into skynet one day.

  • IE can die a horrible death. Way too many holes and pitfalls, spam, etc.

Firefox is ok, but Chrome has seriously killed that off for me and DH.  Safari is a puny version of Chrome, and comparable (user friendly-ness) to IE.

  • I use Firefox for the bump/nest and Safari for everything else.  It's sluggish to me too, but I can quote, bold, block pictures etc. on FF and I can't on Safari.

I don't love Safari either, but I have all my bookmarks there and I really don't feel like switching.

  • I switched from Firefox to Chrome at home about six months ago. Sooo much faster.

I still have to use Firefox at work due to compatibility issues.

Most browsers will import your bookmarks from others when you install them. If not, they are all stored in the program file, so its easy to copy and paste them all into the new browsers bookmarks file.
