15 month appointment

Emerson is short & chunky!  LOL!  She is 71% for weight & 37% for height.  (24 lbs & 30" tall)

He said she is ahead in talking, she says about 12 words & that includes some phrases (He said babies should say 4-6 words at 15 months). 

So while he was explaining all her shots & stuff she kept going up to his chair & yelling "HEY" at him & running around babbling!  The pedi just laughed & said she has a lot of personality for a 15 month!  LOL. 

overall good appointment!

    Yeah for a good appt!

    At E's 15 month appt she was babbling, and I am pretty sure she was telling him where he could stick his stethoscope, and it wasn't on her. LOL!

    Yay for good appointment. Whenever I take DD to any appointment she is walking and babbling and then as soon as the pedi or nurse opens the door and walks in she runs over to me and jumps in my lap and doesn't say a word at all. Then when they leave she gets down and runs around babbling again. Pedi asked last time if she was babbling any and I said yet all the time but since she doesn't know you she wont say a thing! She does however scream her head of and criesf when the pedi even thinks about touching her (he doesn't even have to be touching her but if he has his hand out at all) and she climb up to my shoulders and gets as far away as possible.

    haha!  too funny! She really likes him...IDK why either b/c his personality is super dry!  LOL!  I mean he's a good dr, but not an overly fun guy or anything, but she loves him!!  LOL

    L's 15m appointment was yesterday.  She's long and lean- off the charts in height (34") and lean (23 lbs).  Looks like she's going to be tall like daddy!

    that's great!  The pedi asked how tall DH's mom & women on his side of the family are.  He said he would guess that since they are all short (5'3"ish) then Emerson will most likey be in that range too! So I guess it goes by the fathers side most of the time!
