Things I never knew about miscarriage.

Wow, this can really take some time.  My last period was Jan 25th.  BFP Feb 17th. My Beta hell.... 117, 114, 180, 224, 280, 352, 320, 699, 2853, 1354.  I recieved a MTX injection after my levels reached 699.  My RE did not think it was etopic, he thinks he saw a small sac on ultrasound but could not be 100%.  The nurse said it could take up to six weeks from this point till my numbers reach 0 and I will not actually pass any fetal tissue until it does. Which puts me into late April.  Any bleeding I am having now is just the lining. 

I guess I am just venting... I really just want this to be over.  I feel like this is soo drawn out... I just don't feel like myself.  I have also been asked a couple times, when will we have #2... I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs if you only knew!!!  Thanks for listening. 

Dh and I want to try again as soon as we can but I am also terrified of this happening again. 

After 2 years TTC with mild endo and an elevated FSH. We were successful with our second IUI after Lap surgery. Our daughter born 12/2009. Currently trying for #2. IUI#1-miscarriage, IUI #2-BFN, IUI #3- BFP Pregnancy Ticker

    I hate that you are going through this and hate even more that it has been such a long drawn out process. (((hugs))). I hope things resolve as quickly as possible...you guys deserve to be able to move on. I am sorry, honey.

    September 2011 - Puregon/ 1500mg Met/ Baby Aspirin - BFFN!!!!

    I am SO sorry this has been the process it has for you. I, too, always thought miscarriage was just - it's over. My own beta hell has taught me that this is NOT always the case. Thinking of you.
    DS #1 born 11/23/06 - our IVF miracle! Missing our sweet baby who was spontaneously conceived. 20 week loss on 6/24/10. DS #2 born 10/22/11 at 38w1d after FET #1. Life is GOOD!!!!!

    I'm sorry. I had a similar one just before getting pg with DS. I bounced between 75 and 50 for three weeks before getting the MTX shot.  I bled from what would have been week 5 until what would have been week 11 (after I hit zero at week 10).  I got pregnant while I thought I was still in the process of the MC.  Which of course is NOT recommended. 

    Anyway, I hope it is over soon.
