Have you guys seen these? So sad. It's absolutely amazing. Some where whole villages are just gone. Or completely flooded. Wow.

I know some of you talk to Matsi off TB? I know she's from Hawaii. Did she also have family in Japan?

It's devastating. What really breaks my heart is watching the home video footage showing the waves sweeping in and you see people walking/driving on the streets trying to get away from it and they just get washed away...absolutely heart wrenching.

Lurker here- I have a sister in Japan, and I lived there for 5years. I cry watching the news, and I'm glued to CNN. Unfortunately, they're behind on their updates- some of my Japanese friends alerted me last night about the 3rd reactor going, and that wasn't on CNN til today. I have friends in Aomori, which is super close to where the tsunami hit. They're alive but without power.

It's so hard to believe this is real. My sister's city, Yokohama, is starving. All the stores are stripped of food. I asked her if I could send her some food, and she said all the mail is being centered on sending aid to Sendai- so it wouldn't get to her for a while. Feel so helpless.
