Anyone have the UPPAbaby G-Lite Stroller?

I had all but purchased the Maclaren Triumph, but then I started playing around with some other strollers.  Now I'm not so sure I want the Maclaren.  I found the UPPAbaby G-Lite on Amazon and I think I like it.  And not a bad price at about $99.

What do you love or hate about your stroller?

I want a basket at the bottom.  I thought I might be ok with some other form of little storage bags (one stroller had "saddle bags") but in the end, I know we will take this stroller to Disneyland and even just on our everyday trips to the store I am always throwing a small bag with Livy's things in the bottom basket, so this is a must.  I would like/love a cupholder, but it's not a deal breaker.  I'm not very tall, but we had a little stroller given to us and I kick the axle like every other step, so that is also important.   Anyone have any recommendations?  TIA!

P.S.  I know there have been posts before asking for stroller recs.  If anyone has a link, I would gladly just look through that.  Thanks!

  • Here's a link from a post I made last month:

We ended up buying the City Mini and I absolutely love it.  The basket on the bottom is a little small, though, and it doesn't have a cup holder (although you can purchase one on Amazon to go with it).  However, it maneuvers like a dream, has a huge canopy, and is ridiculously easy to fold.

  • We went with the Britax B-Nimble. It's a nice light one with a carry strap, decent basket, cupholder and rain cover. Turns great, folds and opens super easy and got it on Amazon for $130 in red (prices fluctuate and are different for diff colors.). We've just pushed it in the house but like it a lot so far! Height is good for me (5') and DH (5'11".). Fwiw we looked at the City Mini but found that it was larger and wider than what we wanted, which was more of an umbrella style. HTH!

  • Have it!  Love it!  It traveled well to California, survived a "walk" through Golden Gate park, has a basket, nice padding, a cup holder, it is light, and very easy to open and close.  Oh and the sunshade is FABULOUS.  If you want a recline and sturdier wheels, I would consider the G-Luxe for a few extra $.

  • Thanks Ladies!  I showed DH the options and waited to see which one he liked before telling him which one I liked.  We both liked the G-Luxe so we went ahead with that one.  Only $129 on albeebaby!

    Thank you for your help!
