Hate all the matchy matchy bedding sets from BRU....I got mine custom made on Etsy by One World Baby. We are getting it delivered tomorrow, I'm so excited!
My mom is making ours. We went and picked out fabrics and sketched it out and she is working on it now!
I really wanted yellow in the bedding and everything in stores seemed to have monkeys ALL over it, so that was why we decided to go the home-made route!
Ours is from Pottery Barn Kids! We got the Katie collection in lavender and absolutely love it! I originally wanted pink, but it was online only. The lavender was sold in stores and I figured it'd be nice to be different.
The quality is great! And it's way cuter in person than the pic. The pic really doesn't do it justice!
ETA: my husband just sent me these, so I thought I'd include them. Side note, we do plan on getting a rug to help mask the carpet. We are also still looking for wall decorations and things. It's fun mixing and matching though.
Currently, our bedding is on our registry in hopes that someone will purchase! I doubt it but its worth a try right? The bedding is available at babysupermall.com and Amazon. More than likely we'll be purchasing the bedding from Amazon since they have some great sales and coupons.
We found a site called Sheetworld.com. We are most likely getting our bedding from them because they offer a wide variety of mini/portable crib sheets as well. We live in the city and don't have the space for two regular sized cribs.
I found the one I wanted on modpeapod.com. They have lots of cute/trendy bedding but I ended up ordering it on Etsy. I found a lady on Etsy that had the same fabrics and was willing to do it for much cheaper.
I found the pattern I wanted on Pottery Barn Kids and then found exactly that on Amazon (brand new, still in packaging) for 1/2 the cost. Love a good deal!

i just did quite a few web searches with some brands that i was familiar with, dwell studios, kidsline, www.cocalo.com to name a few...
i like checking out their websites because there are usually more options than just what is at bru.
i ended up actually purchasing from amazon though. a brand i hadn't even looked at before. i just searched by what "theme" i wanted.
another good place to check out is burlington coat factory. they don't have an online store, but if you have a store near you, check it out.
We got ours at PBK both times. This time it's the Kasey (it might be Kacey) collection in red.
