Boiled nipples/paci turned orange?!

so I boiled two nipples and a pacifier today before their first use and all three turned orange!  The only thing I can think of is that I used a pot that I cooked pasta sauce in last night, but the pot had been thoroughly washed and dried so I'm surprised that any of the color was able to leech out of the pot and into the nipples....has anyone else had this happen?  any idea if I can still use them?

    I had that happen to some nipples/paci's when I put them in the dishwasher at the same time as a pot or dishes that had pasta sauce.  They worked fine after, just stayed orange.

    Ditto.  My flanges from the bp never were clear again.

    Yep, happened to us to when we washed an empty nutella container in the dishwasher and then periodically.  They still are fine, just discolored.
