I have been saying next week for 3 weeks now. I have a mini anxiety attack when I think about it, so I may be stuffing a toddler in the bassinet! haha! MH even offered to bring the crib in our room. I wonder if I should just take him up on the offer.

At first I thought I would just before I go back to work but they say it's best to have them in your room for 6 months (I'm paranoid) so I think I'll be putting it off for a bit. The crib could fit in our bedroom but the bassinet is so convenient.
Dee,
Mommy to: Sofia, born 2/9/11, as well as three dogs, two cats and a multitude of chinchillas.
My LO is 6 weeks now but he was a premie so I'm stalling. I'm hoping to move him to the crib for naps/daytime sleeping maybe this week or next. Once I get over that panic I'll switch him full time. He'll definitely be in his crib full time before he's 3mths old, but it's definitely hard to move him when he's still so teeny tiny.

I started doing naps in there this past weekend. She also STTN both nights this weekend, and I said if she did it 2 more nights I would move her. Well, last night... not so much! So I would say probably by the end of the month. That said, my mom is babysitting for me on Saturday, so I may have her put her down in there. Just to try it out.

We have been trying to move her over since she came home from the hospital. She only slept well in her pack n play newborn sleeper which we had in the living room. After 4 weeks taking shifts on the couch with DH, I broke down and got a RnP for our bedroom last week. We now put LO down in her crib, but if she fusses for too long, we move her into the RnP. She'll usually do her first few hours in the crib and we'll have to move her over or get no sleep.
DH and I talked about trying for this coming week if she continues to sleep 5hrs for at least one stretch at night, we'll try the crib. She's done one 5hr stretch for the past 3 nights, so if she continues through to Weds. or Thurs., then Fri. will be her first night in her room. I'm eager for that to happen, I sleep on edge with her in my room.
I am hoping this week but am still on the edge just cause when she sleeps in her bassinet She is in arms reach. But still very nervous to put her in the crib.
