Tell me about your bedtime routine! DD2 is 5 months and has been STTN (one wake-up around 4 a.m. with a bedtime of 8 p.m.) for about two weeks now. So I want to move her into DD1's room. They will both be in cribs, and we have them both going down awake at 8 p.m. There is usually a bit of crying from DD2, and sometimes from DD1, before they fall asleep. I know we just need to bite the bullet but I'm scared!

Re: If your two share a room
Well right now we put DD#1 down first and once both girls are asleep, we take DD#2 in there. Pretty soon I'd like to put them both down at the same time and see what happens.
My DD (#2) is usually exhausted by 6:15-6:30pm, so we give her a bath (only every other night) before DS eats dinner (5:45pm ish), then change her and start giving her her bottle while DS is eating his dinner (6ish). Then I read her a book (if I am alone, I will read to her at the table with DS - if not, in the glider in the room) and bring her in to her crib with the sound machine on. I shut the door and say "good night!" (by 6:15-6:30)
Then DS finishes his dinner and gets a bath (also every other night), then he gets taken down to the family room to get changed into his PJs. Then we go upstairs and brush his teeth, and into our bedroom to read his bedtime books. Then we bring him into the room to go to sleep at 7-7:30ish (and he isn't always quiet about it).
Usually DD is already asleep and she may wake up a bit when DS arrives - but if we give her back her paci, she goes right back to sleep. They actually do pretty well with each other!
