I work for Social Security and was helping out today with the people that walk in with questions/need assistance. The last person I was helping today was this young girl( only about 20-21). She came in her child's baptismal record and a letter from the state DHS office stating when her baby's benefits stopped. She needed her baby's SSN to get the death certificate. Yes, death certificate. Her baby was born 5-12-10 and died 12-14-10. When I saw this I had to try my hardest not to cry in front of her, I felt so bad for this mommy. The baptismal record showed her LO was baptized 12-13-10, the day my DD was born( 12-14 was my EDD).
After she left it was just about time to go home. I couldn't wait to leave and get home and hold my DD and give her a big hug.
