Glucose Test ?

About how long does it take to get the results?  I forgot to ask the doc about when to hear back, or if I will if all is well.  I know I can call but, just doing some research before I seem like a crazy lady and call every 30 secs. lol

    2 or 3 days - i waited until my next antenatal appointment - which was 4 days after the test.....

    Depends on the lab, clinic or hospital where you have them drawn. Mine was drawn in the morning and the results were done by the afternoon.

     I just passed. My level was 136 and my docs cut off is 139 and then you need to take the 3 hr.  I will probably cut out some of the sweets to be safe now though.

    my doc's office called me the following day about the result, might be because they needed to tell me I was severely anemic though even if the glucose test result was fine.

    I took mine in a hospital lab last Friday (my ob's in-house lab was out of the drink).  The lab tech told me they'd have the results that day.  I called my doc's office today and the nurse called me back to give me results.  They were just going to tell me tomorrow at my 28 week appt but I was too impatient.  Passed with a 119 and my iron lvls were good.  YAY!

    I also found out the next day but was told I was anemic and needed to add iron pills everyday :)

    ..but passed the glucose test, wahoo!

    I still havent heard from my OB yet but then again I did only have the test on saturday BUT i called my primary doctor and they told me my results LOL. My doctors office has electronic medical records thats linked with all of hospital owned practices ie my ob and the lab. They told me I was in range at 137 their cutoff is usually 135-140 so Im happy. I mean ill still wait to hear back from my OB but im not planning on doing the 3 hour - my ob already told i was measuring small whereas if I had GD I would be measuring larger.

    Sounds like some people find out the same day, but my clinic told me it would take 24 hours to get the results.  Then for me, 24 hours later and no one called me so I waited another day and called the clinic.
