comparable diaper to pampers dry max

Looking to cut down on the diaper costs but pampers have been great since day 1. Have you found a comparable one even if its just for daytime. I love pampers because we have never had leaks!

Re: comparable diaper to pampers dry max

  • We switched to Luvs when Pampers introduced Dry Max (I couldn't stand the smell and it irritated DS's skin). We tried Huggies and Target brand first, but didn't like either. Finally tried Luvs and will never use anything else! Never had a leak. I buy them on Amazon with Subscribe & Save. Before coupons (which according to rumor are being discontinued anyway), a case is around $24.

But...every baby is different. Some swear by the Target diapers, but they didn't fit DS well. Get a small pack of a few brands to see what works best for your LO.

  • We love the Huggies Pure and Natural when we have to be in 'sposies for some reason. DD was sick this past week with nasty diarrhea, so we had her in them- not a single blow out, amazingly. They're just as expensive as Pampers though, I think, so I guess that doesn't help your cause. ;)
  • We use Pampers Baby Dry.  It does not use DryMax.

  • Luvs....try them and you'll never go back
  • I really like Luvs. I buy them on amazon mom subscribe & save. Plus with coupons from Parenting early years (20% off) sometimes Baby Talk for $10 off.
  • I know this is a few days late, but I did want to chime in about the Target diapers. They are a LOT cheaper than Pampers Dry Max (which we used right when DD was born) and work just as well or better for us. So definitely give them a try and see if they work for your DC!

We tried Luvs and didn't like the way they smelled or how they felt. Just too scratchy for our DD.
