    for me (when I had it done for my 1st DD) - the 3D was just the photos and the 4D was video of her moving around. (now if I could just recall what I did with that DVD!)

    The 4th dimension is time, so there is technically no such thing as a 3D ultrasound because it's all live and you can see movement on any ultrasound.

    Yeah, like pp said, the fourth dimension is time.  The 4D ones are supposed to be in "real time" so as you see it, it is happening.  But I don't think the "delay" is at all significant with a 3D so they're pretty much the same :)
