  • My incision bothers me from time to time.  I would describe it as being tender.  I have had issues with cramps but I do have back pain.

  • Pretty much all of this. It only gets really itchy if I wear something that rubs against it. I have found that it really aches after doing yoga as well. I also have some spots that still seem numb too, do you have any of these? I've had people tell me the numbness can last forever and that kinda freaks me out.

  • Definitely still numb above the incision. Also, sometimes I get sharp pains the run right along the incision. I think it's the nerve endings healing or growing back. I did have a little pooch that was swollen right above the incision, but I noticed recently that it's gone away. I feel like my stomach is still bloated though, even though I'm smaller now than I was pre-pg.

  • I just have numbness. It's weird, but not the end of the world.

  • Mine feels fine. I only notice the numbness if I rub directly above the incision.

  • Yes, same here. The spot is tender and a little numb above. My jeans sit right about the area and when  I wear them it gets really sore.
  • I still have some tenderness and numbness. My doctor said it could take about a year to go away.

I still have the numbness and it itches when I work out even if it's just a walk.  Where the "knot" is inside it hurts from time to time but I think it's all ok still.  I go back to the doctor on March 29 for an annual exam so I'm sure they'll check it out then.
  • still numb in a few areas and i still get bumps along my incision and my Dr said that is caused by ingrown hair follicles
  • Thank you for posing this question. Mine is still numb, a few inches above scar line. My scar is still tender and red and a little swollen. One part of the skin is a little flaky, like it's not done healing. It hurts on days that I overdo it/push myself too much. It hurts on days that I wear tight jeans for too long. And I have tons of underwearzz that would hit right on the scar that I just don't wear. I wear big, loose cotton hipster panties or g-strings that come up high, well above the scar.

I have also heard the numbness lasts a year . I have a friend who had a C  about a year and a half ago and she said hers still hurts when it rains.

I had always said I would have the next one by C too, "the devil you know" and all that. But not sure how I feel if the swelling takes a super super long time to go down. Anyone else?

  • oh and my vagine still hurts too much to have sex.

  • I'm still numb around the incision and up above it about an inch or two. Some of the skin is still sun burn-ish feeling but that's mostly gone. I still have a pain on my right side from the internal incision that hurts when I exercise. The "fanny pack" bulge above the scar is mostly gone.
