I have never been to a consignment sale, but I need to stock up on a few things. Is this a sale worth going to, or are there bigger ones coming up? Am I better off just going to a consignment shop? I have been to Once Upon a Child and it was ok, but I am hoping to get some good deals. TIA!
Re: Anyone going to KidzStuff Consignment Sale?
I've never been to that one so I can't comment on it, but this one is coming up, and is pretty good. Unfortunately, you've missed the 2 big area ones, but they'll both come around again in September (Kids Exchange at the Fairgrounds, and Kids Everywear at the Morrisville Outlets). However, if you've never been to one, starting at one of the smaller ones might be a smarter move anyway, as the big ones can definitely be overwhelming!
I love consignment sale shopping, but have not had a lot of luck with Once Upon a Child or Kid to Kid. Their clothes selections are very limited, and IMO, overpriced. I always have way better luck at the sales.
GL!
Skirk- When I was at Starbuck's today off of Glenwood, I noticed that they are having a consignment sale in the building beside Starbuck's starting on Wednesday. I think it is called Divine Consign Shop and they had very cute stuff hanging in the windows. Here is the website address- www.dcskids.com
I'm going to that one, I think, on the half price day. Maybe. I'm also hitting the other two mentioned by feisty & Hughes (I'm consigning at Nearly New) so we'll see. I've heard it's a good one, FWIW, I just might have run up a high bill by then
