One day last week, I wanted peanut butter and honey for breakfast, but wanted to add some fruit. I thought about Elvis and the banana and decided to slice one and make a sandwich. Yum, Yum, Yum. I've been eating them ever since and telling people they should try. Unfortunately, people keep giving me strange looks about it. I told my mom it wasn't a pregnancy thing and she just said ok, but yesterday she said she told my dad and he bust out laughing. Apparently, they think I'm nuts for not thinking this lunch is preganancy related, but people do eat this, right?
Re: Normal people eat this, right?
Agreed. Love them.
ummm. Awesome. Definitely trying this.
That's not weird at all! I don't add honey, but I will spread a soft tortilla shell with peanut or almond butter. Then I'll microwave it just long enough to soften/warm the shell & butter. Then I'll put add a banana, roll it up and eat it! I've been eating that as a snack for years before I ever got pregnant.

Love this! My Mom made these for us when we were kids - she would roll the bread around the banana, cut them up and we'd have "wheels" for lunch!
DH loves them but he grills his like Grilled Cheese.
Yummy!!
There's a cafe that used to be near me that has this Peanut Butter sandwich - it is DIVINE! I had not been there for a couple of years but went last week. I had a craving for their breakfast bagels - best I've ever had.

?Not just for kids? ? Peanut butter, honey, banana slices, raisins, sunflower seeds on honey wheat.
