Goodmamas -- what am I missing?

If you need a cover for a fitted anyway, why spend so much $ on a super cute Goodmama if you're just covering it up? I'm a newb, so I guess I'm missing something?

    Think of it like pretty underwear.  You wouldn't think twice about covering up your pretty VS undies would you?

    And at home a lot of women will let their LO's go coverless.

    Short answer: do you have cute undies even though they're covered up?

    Longer answer: many people let their babies go coverless around the house. Fitteds better allow skin to breathe, are made of largely organic materials, etc. Many babies have PUL sensitivities as well.

    If you plan on putting clothes on your baby, you will be covering up any cute prints whether they're waterproof or not!

    ETA: I hope I didn't blow my shot at the CD board so soon! I've found it ridiculously helpful, and Yoda turned me on to CD in the first place. Hug to her for that!

    Gosh no! We're pretty laid back here, it just honestly is a question we get a lot. :) we've actually talked about adding it to our FAQs... we'll get around to that eventually I suppose. Welcome and stick around- we're a fun bunch. ;)

    I agree with PP. There is no harm in asking a completely innocent cloth diaper question. But once you stick around you'll see that question pop up quite a bit and then you'll chuckle to yourself.

    If you want to see how you feel about GM's, buy one used first.  The big craze is more about the cute prints than anything else.  They are super soft, natural materials, but don't work for everyone.
