Whos LO's are not walking DD turned 11 months yesterday ... She cruisers everywhere but no walking. just wondering who else is having the same thing go on
I think most 11 month olds are not walking. DS #2 is 1 tomorrow and is cruising but no independent steps without holding on. DS #1 walked at 11 months but most of his friends were closer to 13 months. Our pedi told us most kids start to walk between the 13th and 14th month. Of course some do it a few months earlier and later, but 13ish months is the average.
DD is not walking yet, and no where close. She pulls up on everything, and walks around the table etc. But she won't stand on her own or even pull up on things that move.
DD1 was the same, she didn't really show signs of walking until she as a year, but then progressed quickly to walking.
No I am not concerned... I was just wondering... One of the other workers at my job has twins and came in today talking about how she was at TGIF yesterday and there was like 3 babies ranging from 7-9 months and they were walking... She kept saying I feel like my girls are behind... I was just wondering how many babies arent walking yet...I walked at 9 months old... I was mainly asking out of curiosity
My DD is 4 days from being 1 and she is just NOW starting to crawl. (like, yesterday). She's not pulling up, but will stand next to furniture or a play table if put there, she will cruise ..... a little .... on furniture, but beyond that nothing.

FWIW DS1 didn't walk until he was 16 months. He started cruising around 9 or 10 months but just wouldn't let go. I have to admit, I was starting to get worried, but everything else was on track so I just waited patiently! Once they start walking, you'll quickly wish they weren't! LOL

my daughter was 11 months on the 11 and we arent crawling either. She can cruise the whole house holding onto things and loves to push the stool around but not close to taking her own steps.
DD is 10.5 months and we are just starting to really crawl this week, up to this point it was more army crawling and still is a good amount of the time. She has tried a few times to pull up but nothing serious and will stand at and hold onto the table or couch for extended periods but is no where near cruising and definitly not walking. I figure that's great it's that much more time I can not worry about every little thing I leave on the coffee table at home .
DS isn't walking yet either. He cruises around on the furniture, and walks behind push toys, but can't and won't even stand up on his own. I'm fine with him not walking for another couple months anyways, he's already hard enough to keep up with!
The average for early walking is 12 months, so I wouldn't put too much pressure on your LO.
DS has taken steps here and there, and he's been cruising for 3 months, but he doesn't seem to be very interested in walking on his own. He's a professional crawler. LOL

She turns one next week.
I think that's normal. The baby book said the average baby walks around 12-13 months.
