Vent: I didn't get to sleep till after 3 this morning. I am dragging.
Confession: I have only left the house 1 time since getting home from vacation. I think this weather is putting me in a deep depression
Vent : DH is sick and I am extremely worried that Jake or myself or both of us will get sick as well and I can already see that being a disaster.
Rave : We did Ferber with Jake over the weekend and he did amazing! He only cried the first two nights and the first nap. He cried for the 3 min and 5 min waits the first night, and never made it to the first check the 2nd night or the first nap on Saturday. And every nap or bedtime after that he's just fallen right to sleep. He used to have to be rocked at nap time but now he lays there for a few minutes and falls right to sleep. It's unbelievable!
Rant: We just got a notice from the IRS our refund is delayed a month! The best part...they informed us on the day we were expecting it to be deposited into our account...nice. Aaaannndd even better...the reason it's delayed is them not us. How freaking frustrating! We were counting on that money this week.
Rave: We are getting a new mattress set this week. Yay! The one we have I bought 10 years ago and it was a super cheapo mattress that was probably meant to last only a few years. Soon we will be waking up without neck or back pain. Not to mention we are upgrading to a King which means I may actually get a little more room...or maybe DH will just take more room.
Rave: I am pretty sure Holden is taking vocabulary lessons in his sleep, every morning he wakes up with several new words and I dont know where he is learning them but its pretty awesome!
Vent: I'm afraid one of my friends is actually a frenemy... I'm pretty sure she is going around lying about things I have said or am saying (blaming things she is getting caught saying on me etc..) and making my life miserable. I just need ONE more person to confirm it for me so I can end it. Some peeps need to grow up yo!
Rant: same as above
Confessions: I just woke up about an hour ago and I am already day dreaming about nap time!!
Vent: Lucy has been up until between Midnight-1am the last two nights and I am exhausted. She's teething, but she was ALL drama llama.
Raves: we finally finished her room this weekend - and she LOVES it. Since she obsessed with Monkeys, we did pink walls with a brown stripe and brown and green monkey stuff on the walls. It turned out so adorable and it feels awesome to be able to do this stuff and know that I can do whatever I want since I own the house! I love not being a renter anymore.
Monday Vents: I'm tired of the rain. I want to be WARM without hiding under my electric blanket. My feet are rarely warm, my hands are freezing, I just want summer (but am dreading it - I'll be VERY pregnant and probably spend all my time whining about how HOT I am...)
Rants: DH said all week he would do the dishes - I tried to go off my m/s meds with NO luck so dirty dishes weren't sitting well with me. I went to make dinner last night and there was not a clean dish/pot/utensil to be had. EVERYTHING was dirty. So, gagging the whole time, I did ALL the dishes and then fixed dinner. (usually the kids do the dishes but we do them Monday nights - so DH said that it was "our turn" all week long because he didn't do them on Monday). I know - it doesn't make a lot of sense...but I was pushing stuff around in a very non-adult like temper tantrum.
Confessions: I went sugar free last week (I'm a food addict - it's a long story) - yesterday I ate frech toast with syrup and bought 'sugar free' ice cream and ate 4 helpings. At least one foot off the wagon...
Raves: My son made the JV baseball team and my daughter is kicking butt lining up babysitting jobs (vs. working in fast food - she hated her job at DQ so she's got 3 different families vying for her babysitting time - more $$ than fast food!) She's working towards her driver's license and a car. I'm pretty doggone proud of both of them (even on days they aggravate me!)
Vent: My DH is so lazy about cleaning up after himself. I get that you work all day, but so do I...cleaning the freaking house and chasing a toddler, on top of my design work. Throw your damn trash away, and wash your damn dishes!
Rant: The freakin' weather is killing me. KILLING ME. I don't have a car, so we have to walk everywhere, or take DH to work. I have been stuck in the house more days than not. I can't wait for a stretch of good weather so that I can take energy boy to the park and the zoo!
Confession: I keep asking Max if he wants a brother or sister in the hopes that he will just go up to DH and say "want sister/brother."
The only Easter Bunny I can get behind.

I ate like half a bag of wavy lays with french onion dip yesterday because it kept me from being nauseous.
Now that I've said that, I want to eat some more.
vent: I am stressing about house buying! And its making my face break out like a teenager.
confession: I let ds go downstairs by himself this morning b/c dd was still asleep next to me. I called him to come upstairs and he came in with a cup of yogurt he had helped himself to, and was eating with his hands. He was totally covered in it. oops.
rave: tomorrow is the last day of the quarter for dh! Yay for getting my husband back for a week or two before the next quarter starts!
Confession: Soooo jealous of this, Dawn! We need more space, but especially with me being pregnant and having issues with my arms and wrists. My sleep positions are limited and our queen feels more like we're sharing a twin. We can't afford to upgrade right now, plus it would make our room really tight.
Second confession: I'm not tired of the weather. *ducks things being thrown* I enjoy when it's rainy and windy, at the same time. I know people are dying for spring/summer, but I'm hot all.the.freaking.time. And it's been more so since being pg. I actually have the window open, right now, and I'm only wearing a t-shirt and yoga pants. I like a few things about spring/summer, but by July/August, I'm way too hot (#1 reason I left Chicago).
Vent: My mom has been talking about when they'll visit, after baby is born. Luckily, she's mostly playing by my rules of giving us time to settle in before coming (they'll stay with us for a week). But she's mentioning all these preferences and it's irritating me. She's going to growl at any visitors who dare to come over while my parents are here, butting into their time. She knows the timing is going to be tricky since they want to come from a weekend to a weekend, and I want them here and gone while DH is still home with me. She was ok with it all, but now says they don't want to be here Memorial Day weekend (which may be the best timing for us). She has all these things she doesn't want to do while here and what I can/can't plan. I'm close to playing the new mommy card and telling her how it is, like it or lump it. She can always just stay home.

LOVE French onion dip! I swear I'm keeping Deans in business. It's good on almost everything! I'm glad you found something you can eat, no matter what it is.

Oh no! I'm sorry you are having issues. We are mainly doing it now because 1, we are both having bad neck and back pain because the mattress is so bad, and 2 because I know when I get pg those things would only be amplified. It's the one thing we are splurging on and using our tax refund for.
I definitely agree you should go for it now, if you can! And I feel you on the back and neck pain. We were dealing with similar issues before we bought our current bed, a few years ago (with our tax refund). :-) I hope you love the new bed! Once the pg tummy started growing, I actually had to ask DH to try to use less than half the bed b/c I need it. :-) With only side-sleeping, keeping my arms/hands straight down, plus pillows for support, a king would rock. Good idea to take care of it now, plus help you sleep better in the meantime.

Rave: My husband rocks. He is such a hard worker and willing to do whatever it takes so I can be a SAHM.
Rant/vent: I'm so tired of some of my friends giving me grief about adjusting my schedule to work around DS' naps and nighttime sleep. He is a great napper and only wakes up once a night most nights and even STTN on occasion. That's because I protect his nap schedule and make sure I get him to bed on time. Do what works for your kid and I will do what works for mine.
Confession: I don't see the appeal of Girl Scout cookies. Great cause, but they're just cookies.

Confession: This weekend was the first time I've ever been to a "adult novelties" party, 2 of my long time friends started their own business called VIBE. It was fun....
Rant: So the said party was put on by my mom and her friend, so 90% of the ladies there were 45+. Um yeah, talk about weird, seeing middle aged women go nuts over dildos, and vibrators. Then to be told I am to young to know what one is...I looked at the lady like she was crazy. I may have not been to a party but I do know what toys are. LOL.
Vent: Also at said party, most of the ladies were going out side and smoking pot. Fine do what you want, but the entire place smelled of it, and I wanted to get sick. I had to go home after that. Just not my cup of tea. A bunch of middle aged, drunk, horny and stoned ladies...No thanks.
Rave: My nick name for the entire weekend was Skinny B!tch. Apparently the 14lbs I've lost shows. I still lost half alb at my parents this weekend which is great because last time I was there I gained 3lbs.
Rave: Connor's transiton to a toddler bed was easy peasy! He amazes me every day with how big he is getting.
Vent: I can't stop eating. Something is going on in my head and I just don't feel right. I keep turning to sweets for comfort and therefore I gained 1.5lbs this week. Ugh!
Rant: I've ranted about this before and I know it's not really my business but man I am about to lose it on a friend who makes the poorest money decisions and then complains about not having money ...stop buying sh!t already!
Confession: I turned down sex last night to read my book

Vent ~ That hour sleep loss SUCKS!
Rant ~ I'm not sure if this is considered a rant or not but I HATE how Texas has cockroaches. Somehow one found it's way into our apartment and when I was doing laundry, it was in the washing machine as I was taking clothes out. Scared the sh** out of me!
Confession ~ I *may* have reacted poorly to my team losing on Saturday.
Rave: Loving being a SAHM to this LO, couldnt with DD..
Vent: My tenants back in DE continue to be horrible..
Confession: I ate a super healthy lunch of salad and fruit and the spoiled it with Devil Dogs AND a bunch of the extra icing.. (see recipe:
